£70 million Striker urged to make move, as Blues keen, Chelsea sent exciting Ziyech message, Chelsea told powerhouse will cost £89 million
Exciting Ziyech message sent, Savic will cost £89 million Chelsea told, Osimhen urged to make move in icchelseanews.com
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has insisted that the Italian’s £89million valuation of Chelsea target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will not drop.
We have also been linked with a summer transfer move for the powerful Savic, as they seek a long-term solution to the imminent departure of Willian, who has not agreed a new contract with the club.
Frank Lampard will be given the funds to land a couple of marquee signings this summer as Roman Abramovic is starting to believe that he is the future of the club, and they can easily afford to buy Savic.
However, we have been told that the £89 million asking price will not drop over the summer window, he told Sky Sport Italia: “We certainly don’t need to sell right now.
“I think a lot will change on the transfer market, because the pandemic is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence that transformed everything, so we have to be creative, but above all very clear on our planning for the present and future.
“I think that prices won’t drop for first-rate players. Obviously for the medium and low-end players, there will be a downward trend.
“On Milinkovic-Savic, the boy’s relationship with the city and Lazio will never die because there is a very strong bond that has grown over years.”
Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has been urged by Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr to leave Lille this summer.
Michy Batshuayi is now the latest name to be linked with a transfer move away from the club after Olivier Giroud recently agreed to stay at Stamford Bridge for at least another 12 months.
And one name that has now been added to that shopping list is that of Osimhen, who has impressed over in the French League this season with his goals and performances.
Osimhen has netted 18 goals in Ligue 1 this season after joining from Belgian side Sporting Charleroi last summer for around £10million, but we have been warned that they will not be able to sign the striker on the cheap.
And now Rohr believes that playing at a higher level will help his Super Eagles chances, He told Le Quotidien du Foot: “Victor Osimhen, I think, will have a very big opportunity to go from Lille, perhaps in the Premier League, to a very, very big club.
[the_ad id=”164″]“If we have players playing at a very high level for their clubs, our level at the Super Eagles would grow also.
“(But) if he is signing for a very big club – you have seen the clubs ready to buy him now – he is not so sure to play because there’s big competition for the starting places in the team.
“(Although) it would be better to play in a better club than Lille.”
Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has backed former Ajax team-mate Hakim Ziyech to thrive in the Premier League with Chelsea next season.
The very impressive winger had four successful year with Ajax before deciding that now is the right time to test himself in the Premier League, when he decided to sign with us back in February.
The Morocco winger, 27, can’t wait to team up at the Bridge from Ajax after the Dutch League was finished early due to the coronavirus pandemic, and El Ghazi feels that he will be worth the wait.
He told Bureau Sport: “You have to think about your muscles with so many games [in the Premier League]. ‘
“I thought I was big and heavy, but sometimes you run into player and you think: is that a wall?
“But Ziyech is going to do well at Chelsea, 100 per cent. He has his qualities and he shouldn’t have to be physical.
“He’s agile and can move well, because he’s so thin. Going to the gym doesn’t mean going to Basic Fit [Dutch gym chain] to become a powerhouse.
“You can also work your core, train your abs, pull ups. It doesn’t make you a bodybuilder. Being in the gym doesn’t just mean pumping and pumping.”
We have said it before and we will say it once again, Ziyech is a top class player that has all the ability to be a real superstar for us when he arrives in the summer window, he may not even need time to showcase his abilities.
I cannot wait to see this guy in action, although he will need a few games to get used to the pace and quality that the Premier League has to offer.
