Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has told the likes of Chelsea that talented midfielder Marco Asensio will not be leaving the club at the end of the current seasons.
With constant speculation in the media suggesting that Eden Hazard will be leaving the club and making his way to the Bernabeu, there is a lot of talk that Maurizio Sarri is lining up a number of potential replacements for the Belgian superstar.
And one name that has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League is that of Asensio, who has become frustrated at his lack of game time at the Bernabeu this season and has reportedly been considering his future with the Spanish giants.
But the Frenchman has now admitted that Asensio will be a big part of the Madrid side in the coming seasons and will not be leaving the club in the summer window.
He is quoted as saying on the Marca website: “I have spoken to him and told him that he will be fundamental to the team. And I want him here with us.”
Meanwhile,Mexico manager Tata Martino has told us transfer target Hirving Lozano is ready for a top-club move.
The Mexican winger impressed for his country during the World Cup and his performances caught the attentions of a number of Premier league clubs, with Maurizio Sarri eyeing up possible replacements for the ageing Pedro and Willian,
And now his National team boss claimed that Lozano is ready to take that next step and play at the very highest level.
He said on the Sky Sports website: “Taking an intermediate step in Dutch football or Portuguese football, that has been traditional for Latino players. I think Hirving has had an influential time in Holland and shown he can be a player who is incredibly valuable and can make the jump to the biggest clubs in Europe.
“It’s clear, I think from the analysis side of the player, he’s absolutely ready.”
