WTF?? Arsenal told to make move and sign this Chelsea star
Louis Saha believes Arsenal should consider resigning Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in the coming windows.
Despite the fact that Giroud was a major player for the club last season in their quest to get back into those top four spots, there has been constant speculation about his long-term future at the club as he simply has not been a regular this season.
However, Giroud hit the headlines over the past few weeks after netting five times in seven days, scoring four against Sevilla and the equaliser in the game 3-1 win against Leeds, and is fast becoming a big part of the side for Frank Lampard.
There is talk that he will not look to stay at the club in the January transfer window if the club are not ready to give him the game time that he desires, but with Mikel Arteta looking to add another striker to the attack, Saha has urged the club to make a move for the Frenchman.
He told Genting Bet: “Olivier Giroud could be a good option for Arsenal if they were to resign him. He is a top striker.
“He might not always give you the style that you want but he is always questioned and stands up to answer them.
“Any side in England would love to have a Giroud on top form in their team.”
The way Arsenal are playing right now, Giroud would be the idea man to come in and score a few goals for the club. But at the end of the day, it would be a massive shock to see him make the move back to the Emirates, as he would not be first choice there either.
Why would he wants to take a step down?
