Wise urges Chelsea to bring this £75 million rated defender to Stamford Bridge
Dennis Wise says Chelsea transfer target Ben Chilwell has ‘a lot of quality’ and wants to see him start alongside new signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Frank Lampard is no fool, he knows that he needs to get his transfer business done early in the window and knows that he needs time to get the new players adjusted to his style of play and their new team-mates.
And with that said, many are excited about the summer arrivals of both Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, who are both regarded very highly in Europe right now and will both help us progress next season.
But there has also been talk that Chilwell could be the next man to make that move to Stamford Bridge, with the £75 million rated defender now one of the very best in the premier League and high up on the list of Lampard.
And when asked which team he wants to see line up at Stamford Bridge next season, Blues legend Wise included the England international.
‘As you see I’m hoping that they sign a left-back, Chilwell, the Leicester boy,’ Wise told Stadium Astro.
‘That would be very nice if they got a left-back in because I think he’s got a lot of quality. ‘There’s a lot of speculation about him and that would be really, really nice.’
