Winger has confirmed exciting defender will be a Chelsea player this summer

Noni Madueke has issued an update on Levi Colwill’s Chelsea future and pretty much confirmed the young mans plans

The England U21 international centre-back has made 21 appearances for Brighton and the south coast club are looking to sign him in a permanent deal, although they face competition from Liverpool, City and Spurs.

It has also been claimed that the club are willing to give him a chance in the side next season and are already thinking about handing Colwill a nice big contract to sign over the next few weeks.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

Now – While celebrating England U21s winning the European Championship, Colwill was joined on an Instagram live video by Madueke, who issued a positive message to Blues supporters: “We’re both coming back, I’ll make sure he comes back.”

WILL HE GET HIS CHANCE UNDER POCHETTINO?

Colwill proved last season at Brighton that he is more than good enough for the Premier League – he has proved that he is ready to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

He could be learning from Thiago Silva – one of the very best in the game – which would mean he could develop into a real star of the game.

So we are fully hoping that he is given that chance this season – he really is an exciting talent for the future and a player that we believe has the potential to be a quality central defender for the club.
