Chelsea interest ‘in best right back in the world; confirmed?, Fans told world class duo to make summer move, Defender flattered by Chelsea interest

Chelsea, Willian

Guys here is a roundup of the latest news, gossip and transfer talk from icchelseanews over the past 24 hours….

The agent of Achraf Hakimi has told the likes of Chelsea, ‘all the big clubs are interested’ in signing the star.</strong>

There have been some reports in the media suggesting that  are planning for potential new signings in this coming transfer window, as they seek to improve the side.

It will mean that Frank Lampard will be able to delve into the clubs transfer kitty and add a few players to the squad that will add some experience, and quality in the right areas of the pitch, as the defence is not the best at Stamford Bridge

That has led to alot of speculation in the media linking the us with a whole host of possible summer signings, with some of the biggest names on that shopping list of Lampard, but now it seems that he has turned his attentions to Hakimi.

The Real Madrid fullback has been linked with the club this week, with some reports even suggesting that we have made contact with the Spanish giants and the players agent in a bid to try and get an early transfer deal done, despite the massive outbreak of the coronavirus.

Hakimi is due to return to Real this summer after two years at Dortmund, but his agent has now opened up and claimed that a number of clubs are interested in a deal, and also suggests Dortmund are also keen on a permanent deal this summer as a result of his outstanding performances in the Bundesliga

Alejandro Camano told Sky Germany: ‘Achraf is the best right-back in the world together with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

‘All the big teams in Europe want him and, of course, Real Madrid is one of them.

‘But Dortmund is still an option for us. We are just waiting now.’

Pat Nevin has opened up and claimed that both Pedro and Willian will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

The Premier League season is in limbo right now and nobody knows if the campaign will get back on track before the transfer window opens up, but that has not stopped speculation about players coming and going at the Bridge.

And that means both Pedro and Willian have been talked about on a weekly basis, with the Brazilian star keen to stay, but we are not prepared to offer him the kind of deal that he wants, while Pedro has has his time at the top and is now ready for something a little easier.

Now, Nevin has opened up and told West London Sport: ‘Pedro is definitely going as far as I understand. ‘There is a question mark with Willian but will it be something that Chelsea fans will be overly worrying about? No.

‘Christian Pulisic is coming on, Callum Hudson-Odoi is there and they won’t always play with wingers anyway because Frank plays with a 4-3-3.’

Nevin has also backed his former club to cope well with the fall-out from the coronavirus crisis, adding: ‘I have a suspicion and a feeling that Chelsea will be OK.

‘Financially they will not be too bad. If you talk about the young players, they will grow and that’s fantastic.

‘There might be something in the economics that makes it difficult to bring players in.

‘But if they can’t buy any players then they can just carry on. ‘Some clubs will have to have fire sales that you wouldn’t believe. Some clubs will be able to deal with it well and be in an amazing position. Some clubs could be in danger of folding.

‘You look at some of the clubs living on debt and you stick another massive amount of debt on top of that, which is what they are going to get, and the fundamentals are in a bad way for a lot of clubs right now.’

Gabriel Megalhaes has admitted that he is flattered by the links with Chelsea.

Frank Lampard knows that he needs to sign defenders in the summer as the current crop are not quite good enough, and he has been linked with a whole host of players over the last few months, but it seems that he could be set to hijack Everton’s move for Gabriel

Gabriel is the latest player to rise to prominence at Lille having joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Brazilian minnows Avai FC in 2017, and recent reports suggested Everton have had an offer for his services accepted with The Independent reporting that the 22-year-old had already passed off-site medical checks.

However, recent reports on ESPN claim the Lille youngster, who’s 22, is one of OUR top transfer targets, and Frank Lampard is reported to be impressed by Magalhaes aggressive, no-nonsense style of play and is now ready to make sure that he brings the unit for a fee of around £30 million.

Now, amid all the speculation, he was Asked about the recent rumours, Gabriel told Brazilian outlet UOL: ‘I follow, but I try to stay apart. I always tell my managers that, at this moment, I want to know as little as possible so as not to lose focus on the pitch.

‘I am happy to see my name being linked with great teams. It shows that the work I’ve done so far has been good.

‘I also see many fans of the two teams commenting on my posts on Instagram [laughs]. It’s funny.’

Asked about the recent rumours, he added::‘But we have to be calm with all this. It is early and I renewed my contract with Lille until 2023.

‘The focus now is to return to play and end the season in high level, qualifying Lille for the 2020/21 Champions League.’

  1. Maxwell says:

William and Pedro leaving gives a chance to the youngsters to develop. Chelsea have enough players to replace them with Pulisic, Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi in the team whiles Mount and Loftus-Cheek could play as wingers
