Please dont go! Sarri wants Luiz at Chelsea announces Brazilian Willian

Willian believes Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants to keep defender David Luiz, who has been linked with a move away from the club.

Luiz has become an integral part of the side this season and has shown glimpses of the quality he possesses at the back, but despite his start under Maurizio Sarri, there has been some speculation that he could depart at the end of the season for nothing with his contract expiring.

There has been some talk about out policy for players over the age of thirty, and although we don not fully agree on it, it has proven to be a huge success for us over the last few seasons.

However, Willian lauded the quality of his compatriot Luiz and has claimed Sarri has spoken of his desire to keep hold of the Brazilian defender.

“We have to see if the club will want him,” Willian said on the Sky Sports website.

“I think they want (him). For me, I want him to stay.

“David has a lot of quality to do these kind of passes.”

Will we hand Luiz a deal to stay for another season?

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Luiz and it would not b a massive surprise to see him leave for nothing at the end of the season.

Sarri has his eyes set on a number of players, namely Kalidou Kouliably, Elsaid Hysay and Mtthijs De Ligt, so there may be no room in the starting eleven for the Brazilian next season and onwards.

But although he wont get a long-term deal, we will surely hand the Brazilian a deal to stay for at least another season.
