Guys here is a roundup of the latest news, gossip and transfer news from us here at icchelseanews.com over the past 24 hours

Donny van de Beek’s future is still up for grabs, according to the Chelsea targets agent.

Beek made a massive impact in Europe last season when he helped Ajax regain the League title for a good few years, and also helped the Dutch giants reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, impressing everyone with their attacking football.

That led to speculation in the media suggesting that Beek would be the latest name to leave the club when the next transfer window opens up, with reports claiming that Madrid had already swooped in and agreed a fee with Ajax about a deal for Beek, which meant that we may miss out on another target.

However, no deal has been concluded yet and now we  have been handed a massive boost by the players agent after he came out and revealed that there is still an opportunity for a club like us to swoop in and seal a deal for the brilliant little Dutchman

Guido Albers acknowledges that interest from “several clubs” has been “known for a long time” but refuses to describe the Ajax star’s destiny as sealed, Albers told Voetbal International: “The interest has been – and that is also known – for a long time and from several clubs.

“We will see what will come out of that in the coming weeks. I dare not say anything about it at the moment. I can’t say anything about it because a number of things are just confidential.

“The situation will have changed for each club and we have to look closely at that.”

Real Madrid and PSG transfer target N’Golo Kante wants to stay at Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Kante is easily regarded as the best holding midfielder in the game right now and is a main reason why we were so defensively sound before ex-boss Maurizio Sarri came in and decided to play the Frenchman in a more forward thinking attack.

But there was some speculation during the summer transfer window which suggested that French giants PSG were keen to try and take Kante back to his homeland, especially after he reportedly became unsettled under life with Sarri, but that does not seem to be the case under Frank Lampard.

He has been played in his more usual role just in front of the back-line this season and is starting to look like the world class midfielder that he developed into when he arrived at Stamford Bridge.

Despite all the transfer speculation surrounding his future at the club, and despite the fact that his contract is out of contract in 2023, according to Goal, the France international will only consider a departure if we say they wish to sell him.

Kante is happy and settled despite his struggles this season and does not want to leave the club at this stage of his career, especially considering he would have to switch countries to get the move the club wants.

Chelsea have made direct contact with RB Leipzig about a summer deal for Timo Werner.

German striker Werner, is rated as one of the hottest prospects in Europe, with reports in the media all suggesting that he is seeking that big move to further develop his name in the game, with a host of top clubs linked with a possible move.

The German is one of the top scorers in Europe this season with 26 goals in all competitions, and is tipped to become one of the most deadly strikers in the game, with many believing that Lampard is a massive fan of the talented young German and firmly believes he could add something to the side.

We failed to get their transfer business done in the January window but have already kicked off the summer window with the signing of Hakim Ziyech, who will officially arrive when the transfer window officially opens up.

And according to Kicker, we are looking to beat Liverpool off to the signature of Werner and have already made contact about a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

Lampard needs to add a world class defender, a leader at the back, he also needs to add some superstardom to that midfield, a creative force, and he also needs to delve into that transfer kitty, spend some big money and acquire Werner.

We have a brilliant young striker in the shape of Tammy ABraham and dont need to delve into their transfer kitty in order to sign a striker to replace the Englishman, but if there is a chance to sign up Werner in the summer they should definitely take it, he would come in and add some more fire-power to the squad.
