Chelsea have signed brutal weapon, Werner deal confirmed? Edouard drops hint in icchelseanews roundup….
Chelsea have signed a ‘brutal weapon’ if they manage to get the Tomo Werner deal over the line.
We once again shocked many in the media over the past 24 hours after news broke that they have agreed a £54 million deal to bring the impressive German to the Premier League when the transfer window opens up.
It has been believed that the little striker has agreed a massive £175,000-a-week five-year contract with the club, with the announcement to happen when the coronavirus has somewhat halted.
He will help form an exciting attack next season, especially after we also acquired the services of Hakim Ziyech, and many will be tipping us to challenge for that Premier League title.
And ahead of his possible summer arrival, Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has opened up an claimed that we have signed a ‘brutal weapon’ if they manage to get the Tomo Werner deal over the line.
The Saints gaffer told Sport Bild: “Football is very intense and fast [in England].
“That, in turn, suits Timo: with his speed he’s a brutal weapon in the right team.”
Chelsea target Odsonne Edouard has hinted his immediate future will be in Glasgow by setting his sights on doing more damage to Rangers and firing Celtic to history.
Frank Lampard has already agreed a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech, and Timo Werner, but that has not stopped speculation that a move for Edouard could also be made.
Edouard hit 28 goals for Celtic last season as they equalled a Scottish record by sealing a ninth consecutive title win, but the French striker’s future has been the subject of speculation following his impressive form.
We have been linked with a move, well were linked before we managed to secure a deal for Werner, and could even eye up a possible deal if he are looking to add to the attack.

“This year is nine in-a-row, and next year I hope it is 10 in-a-row. This will be historic for the club.
“It’s very important for the club, for the fans, for the team, for all of the staff. We now need to go back to work for next season, and I hope that we can win this title for 10 in-a-row.
“As for season highlights, the goal at Ibrox back in September is one of my best goals of the season, scored in an important game. I’m happy about that, and now I want go back to working hard, to try and score again against Rangers.”
Timo Werner’s move to Chelsea may have been accidentally confirmed by a Blues player on Instagram.
Over the past few days all the transfer headlines for Chelsea have been about the imminent summer arrival of Werner to Stamford Bridge, for a fee of around £58 million.
It is believed that weactivated that release clause that was in the Germans contract, and it has been claimed that he has agreed a five-year £175,000-a-week move to the Bridge, although a move has not officially been confirmed yet.
However, Stamford Bridge youngster Armando Broja seemingly let slip confirmation of the deal during an Instagram Live, when he opened up about the possible summer arrival of Werner to the club
The 18-year-old starlet said: “What do I think about Werner coming in? I think Werner is a really good player.
“He is really fast, strong, he can score a lot of goals.
“I’ve watched him a lot on YouTube, he is quite good. That is a good signing, I think.”
Look, at the end of the day, it would be more of a shock to not see Werner at the club next season and if the deal does not go through, the whole of the Premier League will be shocked.
He will be Chelsea player when the transfer window opens up and we are just hoping that he is able to find his feet quickly, as the media will be all over his bad performances from day one.
But we are excited to see him arrive and cannot wait to see what he is able to do in the Premier League.
