According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano Werner will accept a move to the likes of Chelsea this summer window.

We may have one of the most exciting young sides in the Premier League right now and many people may be getting excited about the future, but that does not mean that they simply cannot spend in order to progress.

And Werner is high up on the shopping list after another stunning season with RB, in which he has developed into one of the best strikers in the game and netted an impressive 29-goals in all competitions this season.

Liverpool currently lead the chase, but with reports suggesting that the Reds do not want to complete a deal in the transfer window, Romano has now come out and claimed that Werner may accept a move to London.

He tweeted: “Liverpool two weeks ago asked time to Leipzig for Timo Werner.

“The two clubs are not in official talks yet – but lfc are still Werner’s priority.

“He spoke with Klopp many times and he will wait Liverpool.

“He’d consider other bids only if Liverpool will decide to give up.”

Lookl we have said it on many occasions that we are massive fans of Werner and firmly believe that he will add some quality to our attack, so if there is a chance to sign him up in the summer, we are sure hoping that the we make a move.

He is just the type of player that could come in and send a real statement to the rest of the premier League, especially as that £68 million asking price is seen as a real bargain by all the top clubs in the game.

Werner at Chelsea just fits, doesnt it? So guys get moving and make sure that the German makes his way to London.
