Tuchel informs Boehly ‘he would love’ big star signing for Chelsea

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player who Thomas Tuchel ‘would love to have’ at Chelsea – Journalist Dean Jones has claimed

Timo Werner had been at the club for the last two seasons – has netted 23 goals for the club – has won the UEFA Champions League, Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup in that time

But he did not make the impact that many had hoped for – and after a few days of rumours – he has headed back to the Bundesliga after Chelsea accepted that he wants to leave – and he signed with former club RB Leipzig

That has led to speculation linking them with Gabonese international Aubameyang and Jones believes the 33-year-old would be a good signing for the club to make.

Auba is now deemed surplus to requirements from the summer signing of Robert Lewandowski – and could be available should Chelsea make the right offer for the man

Now – amid all the speculation that we are plotting a big offer for the player – Jones has come out and claimed that Aubameyang is a player that Tuchel would love to add to his squad this summer

He said: “When he started looking into emergency signings for this team, Boehly asked Tuchel basically who he would love to have, and Aubameyang was one of those names that he gave to him.

“He didn’t say it was a realistic one but said this is a player that could fit because of these reasons. And it was the same time he spoke about getting (Presnel) Kimpembe.”
