Tuchel interested in Chelsea move
Striker will help Chelsea win Premier League, Tuchel agrees Chelsea deal and Silva agrees to stay in latest Chelsea news…
Thiago Silva has signed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea after a fantastic debut campaign.
A shock signing by Frank Lampard last summer, there were many in the media that believed Silva was passed his best and would not be able to keep up his levels in the Premier League.
However, his quality, ability and leadership on that pitch has made the club so defensively quality and he has helped them get back into that top four spot, while also helping the club to another Champions League win
After tasting defeat in last year’s final against Bayern Munich with PSG, Silva finally got his hands on the European Cup for the first time after Kai Havertz’s goal decided the game in Porto.
Director Marina Granovskaia said: “When we brought Thiago Silva in last summer, we knew we were adding a world-class player to the squad.
“Thiago has duly shown everyone at Chelsea his immense quality throughout this season, and he has had a huge influence on and off the pitch for us.
“We said when he signed that we hoped Thiago would add new trophies to his impressive list of honours, and he has done just that with our success in the Champions League this weekend.
“We now hope that he carries on in exactly the same fashion in the coming year.”
We are massive fans of Silva and are very delighted to see that he has agreed this deal, he really makes that defence alot better and keeping him is a real boost
Thomas Tuchel has signed a contract extension with Chelsea to keep him at the club until 2024.
The 47-year-old German arrived at Stamford Bridge in January, inheriting a side who were ninth in the table when previous boss Frank Lampard was sacked.
And the German made an instant impact at the club over the course of the last few months, leading the Blues to that FA Cup final and winning that Champions League title, while also getting the club back inside the top four spot.
And after a very impressive start to his time at the Club, the German has now agreed a deal with the club that will keep him at the club until the end of 2024, unless he gets the sack before then

“There is far more to come and we are looking forward to our next steps with ambition and much anticipation.”
Tuchel is a world class coach and we were very lucky to get him at the time they did, he was a great move by the club.
He could lead the club to more success next season so the fact that he has agreed to extend his stay at the club, is a massive statement that he intends to bring more success to the club.
This is great news guys!
William Gallas has claimed Chelsea will win the Premier League title next season if Thomas Tuchel signs a ‘world-class striker’ this summer.
Thomas Tuchel has done a wonderful job at the club since he arrived from PSG just a few months ago and got the club back into that top four spot, reached an FA Cup final and won that Champions League title
Gallas believes the club are primed for a genuine title bid next season and says the title will be heading to west London if Tuchel brings in a top-class striker this summer.
‘I predicted one of the London clubs would win the title last year but it didn’t happen and I was a little disappointed,’ Gallas told 888sport.
‘Chelsea have the best chance of winning the Premier League next season because of how they played in the Champions League, every team will be afraid.
‘If Chelsea buy a world-class striker, they will win it. From those three, Chelsea have the best chance.
‘To be a big club, you have to qualify for the Champions League – only big clubs qualify for the Champions League.
‘That’s why City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool qualified. Not Arsenal and Tottenham – they are not big clubs.
‘OK, Arsenal is a big club with history but it’s been a long time since they won the Premier League so they need to get back. And Tottenham, it is a long, long time since they won the league.’
We know wo we want at the club, but it will be interesting to see who we actually get
