Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has insisted there is NO problems between him and Christian Pulisic, despite the players’ father’s comments.

Once regarded as one of the finest talents in the Bundesliga – the club opted to pay £58 million to bring him to the Premier League believing that he would be the next big superstar for the club

However, he has not hit the heights that many had hoped for and has struggled to make the impact that the board had hoped for, Starting just 10 of Chelsea’s 34 Premier League games this season.

That has led to all sorts of speculation in the media over the past few days which have claimed that he has now made the decision to leave the club at the end of the season in order to reignite his career.

However, amid all the speculation and claims – Tuchel has come out and admitted that there is no problem with him and Pulisic – while also suggesting that he will be part of the squad next season.

The German said: “I’m not concerned if a father does not say a player does love me or not!

“Every manager we have our reasons to choose a line-up and have our reasons to go for players in the first eleven.

“You will never see in this kind of level of competition happy faces from players that are not selected.

“Between Christian and me exists zero problems. He had a fantastic training week so far, he is in some matches a huge impact from the bench.”

Pulisic has been given enough chances to make the impact that he wanted and continue to be a regular starter – but he just does not impact games like he was in the Bundesliga

Tuchel may have hinted that Pulisic will still be at the club for next season – we would not be shocked to see him actually depart the club in the coming transfer window.
