German boss opens door even further for Chelsea to sign £325k-a-week star
Thomas Tuchel has once again opened the door even further for CHELSEA to try and sign Sadio Mane after his latest message to the former Liverpool star.
Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson have been brought to the club – but it has been claimed that the club will still look to add another forward to that front-line in the next few weeks
And that has led to reports in the media that a new striker is on the agenda for Pochettino – and it seems that Sadio Mane is now a player that the Argentine would like to have at the club.
Tuchel has recently provided the freshest update on Mane’s future hinting that he could be sold, In a press conference, he said: “We’ve a constellation that makes it very difficult for Sadio. The player knows that too.
“Mané has a contract and wants to stay. And we respect that. But it’s only the first day of training and a lot of things can happen in football.”
And now he has sent another clear message to the forward.
WHAT HAS HE SAID NOW –
As per Bayern’s official website, Tuchel said: “Basically, he had an unsatisfactory season and fell short of expectations. The competition is very high in the position where I see him at his strongest, with Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry.
“We’re very open and honest with each other, he’s our player, he has a contract. We demand everything from him and he demands everything from us.
‘The starting position is not easy, time will tell us more.”
WOULD HE BE A GOOD SIGNING FOR CHELSEA ?
A few seasons ago Mane would have been a wonderful signing for the club – but now – he would not be.
