Haaland wants big contract, Bayern issue Sule message and Tuchel gets £172 million promise in Chelsea roundup…
Chelsea target Erling Haaland wants a five-year deal worth £78 million.
Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football and the man that will eventually go on to become the best striker in the game, and has been linked with a transfer move to all the games biggest clubs.
We have apparently made Haaland their top transfer target ahead of the summer, as we have been tipped to go all-out for the Norwegian striker, with Thomas Tuchel apparently set to move for a new centre-forward.
Now, according to reports on the Daily Express website, the 20-year-old is looking to to secure a five-year package worth £78million if he comes to England.
That works out at least £300,000-a-week, a similar sort of deal to what Raheem Sterling currently earns, but less than City team-mate Kevin De Bruyne and Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Haaland has always been quiet on his future, but gave a brief hint over this plans.
When asked about the number of teams interested in his services, Haaland replied: “It’s always nice when people want you.”
Look, that is alot of money to spend on the player, but at the end of the day, he is certainly a player that would be a great investment for the club.
Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has apparently promised Thomas Tuchel that he will get the same treatment at the end of the season.
Tuchel was brought to the club too late in the January transfer window to sign players and put his own stamp on the side, which means that he will have to wait until the end of the season to get the players that he wants and needs.
The likes of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy all arrived for substantial fees ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, but Frank Lampard was unable to get the best out of his players, and he was ultimately sacked by the Blues board.
Now, According to the Sunday World, Granovskaia is willing to shell out £172million for Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.
Haaland and Sancho are regarded as two of the most exciting players in world football, and they are heavily tipped to pack their bags and leave the German outfit during the summer transfer window.
We have been linked with both players for some time now, but have not been able to get deals done, as Dortmund have had no desire to let the players leave, but that could change in the summer.
It is claimed that both players are ready to leave Dortmund in the transfer window and will cash in on their star duo, for the right amount of money.
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has offered an update on the future of Chelsea target Niklas Sule.
Former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel arrived far too late in the January window to be able to splash a bit of cash to try and add to a squad that is firmly regarded as one of the finest in the Premier League
However, the summer window could be a very different story, as he will know that he will need to add a couple of players to the squad that will help his side reach that next level, with Bayern star Sule on the shopping list
Reports in Germany have claimed that the 25-year-old has been added to the transfer wishlist along with fellow Bundesliga defenders David Alaba and Dayot Upamecano.
Sule, who is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2022, has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Bayern this season, but has only started two of the club’s last six Bundesliga fixtures, and he is reportedly not happy with his current situation at the club
But Rummenigge is still hopeful that he will extend his stay with the German champions: “We want the good German national team players at FC Bayern. Niklas still has one year of the contract,” the Bayern chief told ZDF.
“We will hold talks and see where they’ll lead. We will look at the whole thing seriously & calmly by the summer.
“Corona (Covid-19 pandemic) has also caused financial damage to FC Bayern.
“If we find a solution, we are happy to extend the contract, but that will only be possible under certain conditions.”
