Italian tells Chelsea fans Tuchel ‘wants to have talks’ with Premier League star

Connor Gallagher’s future is up in the air, according to Fabrizio Romano. but Thomas Tuchel wants to hold talks about his Chelsea future

Gallagher has been a player that has impressed in the Premier League tis season while on loan with Palace – and managed eight goals for the club – while also managing to get an England call-up.

He is set to return to Chelsea in the summer – but there has been alot of speculation that he is still very much open to the idea of departing Chelsea on a more permanent basis – with a number of clubs reportedly interested.

However – despite all the speculation – Italian Romano has opened up and told fans that Tuchel will sit down with Gallagher over the next few months and then make a decision about whether or not he should stay at the club

The Italian tweeted: “Thomas Tuchel wants to have direct discussion with Conor Gallagher on future and next season plans. He’s highly rated by Chelsea manager.

However, Romano adds: “There are chances for Gallagher to be part of Chelsea squad for next season, as per (another journalist) @jacobsteinberg – but it’s not 100% sure yet.

Gallagher is a brilliantly gifted midfielder that should be playing every week

He will surely get that sit down talks with Chelsea and Tuchel and talk about where he fits into that squad – but at the end of the day – if he cannot get a guarantee that he will be given a real chance – then he should consider leaving

He is far too good of a talent to let go – but he is also far too good to be on the bench
