Tuchel backs defender to be signed up, Boss confirms striker has agreed Chelsea move, Sancho has agreement to leave and Juve to sell brilliant Chelsea target
Tuchel isses Christensen backing, Juve to sell Rabiot, Sancho has agreement to leave and Chelsea to sign Wareham in latest Chelsea news…
Juventus are considering flogging midfielder Adrien Rabiot after an underwhelming campaign, which will alert the likes of Chelsea, according to reports.
Thomas Tuchel many options in midfield, but he he will need to add another midfielder that has the ability to both score and create on a weekly basis.
And they could be handed a major transfer boost judging by reports coming out of Italy, as TuttoSport write how the Old Lady have finally lost patience with Rabiot and are looking to upgrade him in the summer.
Rabiot, 26, has featured heavily under Andrea Pirlo with 21 Serie A starts, But the reports adds how, except for a handful of matches, Rabiot’s performances, on the whole, have been average.
Pirlo is eager to delve into the market this summer following a disappointing campaign with their nine-year Serie A reign coming to an end.
Look, Rabiot is a player that has been linked with a move to the Bridge for many transfer windows now and if there is a chance to get him on a bargain deal, they should try their best.
He may not be having the best season over in Italy, but he is still a player that would bring more quality to the side. But as always, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out as there will be alot of rumours about whom United will sign.
But if they want to regain that Premier League title in the coming seasons, then they will need to sign players like Rabiot when they come onto the market.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has thrown his weight behind Andreas Christensen’s bid for a new Chelsea contract.
The 25-year-old is back in favour under Thomas Tuchel, and has opened up and revealed that he is hoping to open contract talks with Chelsea about prolonging his stay in London and Stamford Bridge
Though talks have not begun over an extension for Christensen, manager Tuchel has admitted he will be happy to see Christensen stay put in the long term. And the German boss called on the centre-back to earn fresh terms by continuing to produce top-level appearances.
[the_ad id=”164″]“I think it’s the best if he talks on the pitch, and as long as he is on the pitch and as long as he plays like he plays, he has all arguments and all rights to be here,” said Tuchel. “I think he is happy to be here, and I am happy that he is here.
“So I will not get involved in any other situation, talks or negotiations, I never did and I never will. But he speaks for himself on the pitch and this is the most important. And this is not the moment now to get distracted with any other issues.”
The defender has been solid this season and it will not be a shock to see him sign a new contract. But it will be interesting to see what happens as there is alot of speculation that we are looking to sign a new defender in the transfer window.
Chelsea will soon sign Woking academy graduate Jayden Wareham after a successful trial.
Wareham has made 22 career appearances for Woking, scoring two goals and his two goals coming as a substitute in the 2-2 draw at Bromley in January.
Now Woking boss Alan Dowson confirmed that a deal that sees the 17-year-old leave the club is all but done, after he impresses while at Chelsea on trial over the past few months.
“Yeah I believe things are getting done,” he told the Woking YouTube channel
“I don’t think they want to publicise it massively but I believe everything’s in order, it just needs clearance from the Premier League and all that.
“I don’t think there’s any problems with it, I think everything will be getting done and good luck to the lad. Whatever club he goes to, it should get done.
“Every day we think it’s getting done, today whatever, we can’t really say the name but I think everybody will know anyway to be honest.
“But the bottom line is good luck to the kid, I hope he does well, I hope he does very good. It will be good for him, I think he’s got a couple of years to kick on. Fair play to the lad.
[the_ad id=”164”]“It’s done I think but I think when you go there you’ve just got to get permission off the Premier League and all that. That’s the only snag and I think everything else is done.”
The lad is one for the future and we will keep a close eye on his performances over the next few seasons.
Chelsea target Jadon Sancho has a gentlemen’s agreement with Borussia Dortmund that would allow him to secure an exit under certain criteria, sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed
It is no secret that Sancho was the number one transfer target for the top clubs during the summer transfer window, but no deal could get done for the winger as his asking price was far too high.
Sancho endured a slow start to the 2020-21 campaign after being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League giants, but has started to get back to his best since the turn of the year
But with the transfer window just a few months away, there is already speculation in the media that he will be allowed to leave Dortmund at the end of the season, should the club make a significant offer for his services.
Now, amid all the speculation, Zorc has confirmed Sancho has a gentlemen’s agreement with Borussia Dortmund that would allow him to secure an exit under certain criteria, which will give the club a massive boost.
“We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions,” Zorc told ARD .
“He’s been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling.”
Sancho is a player that will go on to do great things, and will go on to demand a big asking price. we would be a fantastic place for him to develop, especially under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel.
