Prem giants told German wants move to Chelsea!

Thomas Tuchel
Tuchel interested in Chelsea move

Man United have been warned that Thomas Tuchel would prefer to return to CHELSEA  as opposed to move to Old Trafford.

Erik Ten Hag could be in the final few weeks of his time at Man United after a disappointing season has seen the club go backwards, rather than forward with all the new signings the club have made.

That has led to some reports that the Reds will make a move to bring the German back to the club and replace Ten Hag , knowing that Tuchel is one of the best coaches in Europe and a man that could really take the club to that next level.

Tuchel’s departure from Bayern at the end of the season was announced in February but Bayern fans have recently petitioned for the former Chelsea manager to stay on, with Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick among the potential replacements.

However – former star Glen Johnson has opened up and claimed that Tuchel would prefer a move back to Stamford Bridge in the summer window rather than a switch to Old Trafford.

Tuchel won the Champions League with the club in 2021 just four months after replacing Frank Lampard at the helm. He was sacked in September 2022 after a disappointing start to the season with the Blues.

He told Betfred: “It’s tough to talk about a manager coming into a job that I would like Mauricio Pochettino to stay in.

“However, if we’re talking from Thomas Tuchel’s perspective, then he’d definitely pick the CHELSEA job over the Manchester United one.

“Chelsea’s another club that are competing, but they’re not and they’re miles away from it at the moment. With the players they’ve got, they should be doing more and if Tuchel had the option, I believe he would pick Chelsea over Manchester United.”
