Thomas Tuchel has asked Chelsea’s hierarchy to sign Marquinhos from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

Roman Abramovic made the big decision to get rid of the Frank Lampard after a disappointment few weeks of results, and opted to make a move to bring Tuchel to the club after he got the sack from PSG.

The German coach has made an amazing start to life at the Bridge by guiding the club to an FA Cup final and a Champions League semi-final.

But with the transfer window just a few months away, the German also knows that he needs to start planning for next season and adding a world class centre-back to the squad is high up on his list of things to do in the transfer window.

And according to the Sunday World, Tuchel has put forward his own list of recommendations to the board and one of the names proposed is Marquinhos.

The Brazilian has established himself as one of the very best centre-halves in world football right now and is attracting all sorts of interest after helping PSG reach that semi-final of the Champions League.

The club, however, will face a tough task of reuniting Tuchel with Marquinhos as the 26-year-old will still have three years remaining on his contract with PSG this summer.

Look, if we are able to acquire the services of Marquinhos in the summer, we will be very happy. He is a world class defender guys
