Italian tells Tuchel £80M Chelsea target interested in move
Chelsea transfer pursuit of Aurelien Tchouaméni has been given a huge boost as he’s reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League.
Now the transfer window is only a few months away and teams are already starting making moves to get the deals done that they believe will help improve the side for next season.
And that has led to many reports in the media that Chelsea are now very much interested in a possible deal for Tchouameni – the Monaco midfielder
The Monaco star is one of the brightest prospects in world football and this summer it has been continuously claimed that he is one player that could be joining one of the big clubs in the next couple of transfer windows.
And now it seems that we have been handed a real transfer boost after transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio opened up and claimed that the Monaco star is open to making a move to the Premier League
He told told wettfreunde: “A lot of clubs in the Premier League are following him (Aurelien Tchouaméni) also.
“He prefers to play in the Premier League.
“Nowadays the players want to play in the Premier League. He stayed another year in Monaco because he was waiting for the possibility of going to the Premier League.
“I think this could be the summer for him to go.”
Despite all the speculation, Tchouameni isn’t taking any notice of the speculation with his sole focus on Monaco who he insists is a “great” club.
He told Monaco’s official website: “When I start something, I try to be the best I can be. I aspire to be one of the best players in Europe in my position. So I work every day to achieve this goal. This involves working at home or at the club, apart from the team’s training sessions.
“We are lucky here at AS Monaco to have very good infrastructure with the performance center, which allows us all to optimize our training. For example, I’m just coming out of a core training session with the club’s physical trainer.
“These are things I try to do regularly, especially for injury prevention. Today I am getting through matches without having any physical issues, so that means that I am working well on the side, with the physiotherapists, and the staff, in particular to avoid muscular problems.
“At home I also have a gym, and I sometimes put in a few more sessions, like last night, always under the direction of the team’s staff.
“Monaco are a very big French club with a wonderful history! Very great players have played here.. When I was at Bordeaux and heard of the club’s interest in me, I did not hesitate for a second to come here. I knew it could help me progress, with top facilities, and being a top project for young players.
“So today I am very happy to be part of this great club.”
