Superstar to Chelsea for FREE update – £40M ace tipped for move- Blues want £43M man

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from IcChelseanews that we think you guys may have missed today –
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has given Chelsea fans an update on the possible CHELSEA return of Eden Hazard.
After developing into one of the best players in the Premier League, scoring 110 goals and registering 92 assists in 352 matches in all competitions, and helping the club to numerous titles during his stay in England, Real Madrid came calling for the Belgian star.
The 32-year-old racked up 76 appearances, scored seven goals, and recorded 12 assists for Carlo Ancelotti’s side during a hugely disappointing time at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
But He claimed many titles with Real Madrid including two La Liga titles, Copa del Rey, Supercopa de España, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Super Cup, which is quite an achievement for a player that spent most of his time on the bench.
He is no a free agent after failing to agree a new contract at Madrid and with no offers on the table, has been waiting for his next club to come in and make him an offer for the next 12 months.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Romano has told CaughtOffside: ‘“There’s a lot being speculated about Eden Hazard, who remains a free agent, but at the moment I’m not aware of anything concrete.
‘There are a lot of rumours, but nothing advanced, because at the moment Hazard is still discussing with his family and those close to him about retirement. Retirement for Hazard is a concrete possibility, but it’s not a final decision yet, and I think when we talk about a big decision like this for an important player like Hazard, I like to be respectful.
‘It’s the player who has to decide and communicate, not for me or other journalists in general. For sure he’s considering retirement, but let’s see what he will decide, and I can say that all the rumours about Belgian clubs, or a return to CHELSEA or other clubs, none of this was concrete or true.”
GALLAGHER TO MOVE?
Tottenham could attempt to sign Conor Gallagher from CHELSEA in January, that is according to former Spurs defender Alan Hutton
Gallegher had been in the transfer headlines alot this summer as it was believed that the club would have allowed him to depart the club if the right offer was made.
That has led to constant speculation in the media that West Ham are very keen to try and get a deal done for the midfielder – and even made an offer of £40 million, which was rejected by the Blues as they were seeking closer to £50 million for Gallagher.
He has featured in the opening weeks of the season for Mauricio Pochettino, but Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs defender Alan Hutton has claimed that he is a player that could leave in the January window.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
When asked if Spurs could reattempt to sign the midfielder in January, Hutton told Football Insider: “We will have to wait and see what his playing time is like at CHELSEA.
“We are looking at, when all fit, a very healthy and large squad so it depends how Pochettino sees him and uses him.
“Does he see him as a regular starter? Or is he more of a squad player? If that is the case then come January he may be looking to get out and play football.
“I think whoever gets him is getting a fantastic footballer at a very good age. He will cost a few quid but I think if Tottenham could get him he makes their squad better.“
CHERKI WANTED –
CHELSEA were among clubs that expressed an interest in Lyon star Rayan Cherki, According to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Cherki is a man that is now on the agenda of the board – as he fits the criteria of being one of the most exciting young players in the game that has the ability to develop into one of the best stars in the game.
It has been claimed that Lyon do not want to sell – but that has not stopped the reports in the media that the club have made contact over a possible deal for the talented star in the coming windows.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
Speaking to Caught Offside, Romano said that there was no offer, he said: “Lyon also have plenty of interest in star player Rayan Cherki, he’s appreciated by many clubs.”
“I’m not allowed to share the names of the clubs who were in discussions over Cherki in the summer right now, it’s still a secret, but I can say he’s a player CHELSEA have been following.”
“There have been a lot of rumours this week, but it was never anything concrete between Chelsea and Lyon. The main talks between Chelsea and Lyon were over Bradley Barcola, not Cherki, it’s not something imminent or a priority target for Chelsea.”
WILL CHELSEA MAKE A MOVE IN JANUARY?
What we have seen from that board in the last couple of windows, is that if they want a player, they will pay whatever it takes to get a transfer deal done.
