Striker will be at Chelsea by end of transfer window – reports claim

Nicolas Jackson won’t be included in any swap deals away from CHELSEA this summer, despite rumours he was offered to Newcastle in a potential move for Alexander Isak.

The forward has put in some decent performances during his stay at club – but there is a feeling that the club will need to add another forward to the attack this summer in order to start competing with the big boys again for Champions League football.

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which had claimed that Nicolas Jackson could actually depart the club this summer and it has been claimed that we could use the striker in their bid to land Alexander Isak from Newcastle.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Jackson is seen as an important part of the project at Stamford Bridge. Jackson himself is also said to be happy with the Blues.

Recently Speaking to Gambling Zone, William Gallas has opened up and claimed that Jackson will not be leaving the club this summer – he said: ‘Nicolas Jackson is clearly upset at Chelsea for Pochettino leaving, Poch gave him the opportunity to have that confidence and he gave him a very good first season in the Premier League.

“The new manager will need time to get even more out of Jackson, but he had a very solid season, scoring nearly 15 goals, so I think he can improve again.

“He’s still young and the next step is to get to the 20 goal mark, which I think is possible next season for him. He’s still very raw and missed some huge chances, especially in their semi-final of the FA Cup against Man City.

“But I think he has all the tools to become a very good player in the future…”
