Striker excited about joining Chelsea – Winger backed for Blues move – forward really wants Chelsea move

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
It has again been claimed that Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran really, really wants to complete his much anticipated move to CHELSEA.
The centre-forward scored a modest eight goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last season and it is believed we see the 20-year-old as a potential answer to their striker problems.
Duran is thought to be happy at Villa Park but would be eager to move to the Bridge if they push through with their interest. It is thought the striker believes he would work well with Maresca and suits the club’s vision.
It is reported that he has asked his agent to get a deal done despite no formal proposal being made, and Permission has been granted by Villa for the club to discuss personal terms but nothing is doing so far.
Unai Emery’s recent comments suggest that the Blues are right to target the striker despite him having a reported £42m price tag. Speaking after Duran bagged a brace against Liverpool, the former Arsenal manager said: “He is very young – 20 years old.
“His potential, it is impossible to predict how far he is going to get. I believe in him.
“It is different football in Colombia. Tactically, the football is very different in the Premier League.
“We are working with him a lot. I know he is going to score, get chances and use his power.
“His potential is clear, but we need to manage him as a young person. But today I am very happy with how he helped us because this is the consequence – we drew.”
GREALISH TO REPLACE GALLAGHER?
Chris Waddle believes Jack Grealish would be suited to a midfield role at Chelsea if they Conor Gallagher leaves the club this summer.
Gallagher may be at the Euros right now with England – but it is widely expected that the midfielder will be one of the players that Chelsea will look to sell at some point this transfer window – with a number of top clubs linked.
Grealish is another player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks, as it has been claimed on numerous occasions that he is a player that Man City are open to selling after failing to live upto the hype that surrounded his name a few seasons ago.
We have been linked with a move – and Waddle made the point while discussing with Betway where Grealish could move this summer after an underwhelming season at City that cost him a place at the European Championship.
‘I think [Grealish] has to go to a side where they are looking to play him as a midfield player. CHELSEA could be an outside bet with Gallagher possibly going, you could see him playing that midfield role. He’d be more effective there.
‘He’s got vision, he can see things, he’s good at give and go. But when he’s stuck on that wing, you’re thinking there is surely more in his locker.’

Look, Grealish has won a ton of trophies with Man City – he has been given so many chances by man City to be one of the clubs best players – but at the end of the day – Guardiola has got the best out of Grealish.
ESTEVAO WILLIAN SIGNS –
Estevao has described joining CHELSEA as a ‘dream come true’ across social media after the club confirmed its agreement with the teenager’s club Palmeiras.
Estevao has made just 22 senior appearances for Palmeiras but is quickly making an impact in his homeland and that prompted the club to swoop in and bring him to the Premier League, although he will not be arriving until next season.
The announcement comes after reports over the weekend about a transfer potentially worth as much as £52m with the Brazilian club being struck. Estevao is has reportedly signed a nine-year contract until 2033 with the club.
The club are said to be paying £29m up front with another potential £23m agreed in add-ons. The player will seemingly join the club after the Club World Cup in the United States next summer
And after his move to London was confirmed – the young star took to social media and reveal that it is a dream come true for this move to happen: “Thank you sir,” Estevao posted on his Instagram Story and X, formerly Twitter.
“Another dream come true,” the player continued before mentioning Chelsea on the platforms. The Brazil youth international punctuated the posts with two blue heart emojis.
