Star wants £500k-a-week join Chelsea – Blues wants £40M star – Chelsea most likely sign Brazilian
Here is the latest Chelsea news and gossip from icChelseanews that we think you guys could have missed today –
Victor Osimhen is not happy about calls from CHELSEA for him to take a pay-cut if he’s to join them this summer.
Osimhen has once again been all over the headlines for the club as there is alot more talk that the big striker is wanted by the Blues board and they are ready to pay big money in order to get a transfer deal.
He has an £110 million release clause that clubs do not want to pay – but it has been claimed in recent days that the Italian giants will allow clubs to sign Osimhen if £87 million is paid in the next few weeks.
And according to recent reports in Italy, we have switched their focus to signing Osimhen and the Nigeria international is open to a move to Stamford Bridge on a permanent deal.
The report adds that Maresca has personally approved the move for Osimhen with the clubs hierarchy, but according to the Sun Osimhen is demanding a salary which would make him the highest paid player in the Premier League – looking for a deal worth a ridiculous £500,000-a-week.
Talks with striker’s representatives have been ongoing for a number of weeks but there is still no agreement between the two parties, due to the Nigerian’s wage demands.

Look, i would love the man here at the club but he needs to stop being greedy. He is not getting the offers that he wants and should not be asking for such crazy money.
CHELSEA MOST LIKELY SIGN NEYMAR –
Former Premier League striker Michael Owen believes that CHELSEA are the team in the top flight that are the most likely to sign Brazilian icon Neymar, who is currently playing his football in the middle east.
We are still looking to get a few more transfer deals done before the close of the summer window – and there has been big speculation that Neymar is a man that the club could make a move for
The Brazilian has constantly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent seasons – but a deal has never been done – and to be honest – he has not even shown an interest in leaving Saudi Arabian football.
However – Speaking to Prime Casino, he claimed: “Neymar to the Premier League would be interesting, but it depends on the finances. He obviously comes with a huge reputation and I’m sure commercially it’d be a great decision for a lot of people, but he’d cost an awful lot of money.
“He’s obviously a great player, absolutely a great player and I like the romance in it, but it probably comes with a couple of risks as well. His name was up there with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, then it was Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, but now if you say the great players of the world, I think not many people would have Neymar come to their minds in the first three.
“I think his star power has slightly slipped a bit. But he’s obviously incredibly talented and if his wage demands aren’t astronomical, then I’m sure somebody would take a chance.
“I’d say that in the Premier League that CHELSEA would be the most likely, I think he’d love to go to a club like that.”
CHELSEA STILL WANTS DURAN –
CHELSEA are still very interested in signing Aston Villa talent Jhon Duran – a striker that the club have been chasing since the start of the transfer window.
The centre-forward scored a modest eight goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last season and it is believed the Blues see the 20-year-old as a potential answer to their striker problems.
Duran is thought to be happy at Villa Park but would be eager to move to Stamford Bridge if they push through with their interest. It is thought the striker believes he would work well with Maresca and suits the club’s vision.
It is reported that he has asked his agent to get a deal done despite no formal proposal being made, and Permission has been granted by Villa for the club to discuss personal terms but nothing is doing so far.
Fabrizio Romano told CaughtOffside: “Keep an eye on the striker situation, as another player they still like is Jhon Duran.’

Duran is certainly a talented striker – but this is the wrong move at the wrong time for the lad – he will really struggle to make any sort of impact at the club because he is not good enough for the Blues yet.
I would much rather see the club spend that money on a proven player that can make an immediate impact – Duran is simply not good enough.
