Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icchelseanews that we think you guys could have missed…

Blues icon William Gallas has opened up and stunningly claimed that Cole Palmer could decide to leave CHELSEA at the end of the current season.

The highly talented 22-year-old attacking midfielder, has rapidly made a name for himself at Stamford Bridge since his move from Manchester City in 2023 and is the man at Stamford Bridge that Enzo Maresca will really rely on over the next 12 months.

He has recently signed a massive new contract at the club – but Whether he actually stays at Chelsea for a decade remains to be seen – but if you believe the words of Gallas, he could leave the club at the end of the season.

Speaking to Prime Casino, Gallas said: “Cole Palmer might want to leave CHELSEA in the future if they don’t show they can win trophies, but where would he go? Barcelona would be a great move for him, but they have great young players already like Lamine Yamal and might also be signing Nico Williams.

“Palmer looks like he is going to have a very similar season to last year and even though he is young, it will be tough to see his friends winning trophies if he isn’t at Chelsea despite the way he is playing.

‘I won’t be surprised if he wants to speak to Chelsea in the summer if they again fail to win a trophy. He will want to know clearly what their targets are.”

NKUNKY OPENS DOOR TO PSG MOVE –

Christopher Nkunku has responded to reports that he could be interested in a move to PSG and hinted that a move could happen if an approach was made.

Nkunku graduated from PSG’s youth system and made his senior debut for the club in 2015. He spent four years in the French capital and made 78 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants before moving to RB Leipzig in 2019

Since his move to the club just a few transfer windows ago – Nkunku has really struggled with injuries at Chelsea and has been unable to make the kind of impact that many people had hoped for.

However – Nkunku is back fit and this season, he already has seven goals to his name in 11 appearances across all competitions, despite the fact he has been restricted to just 126 minutes across seven Premier League appearances.

When asked if he plans to move back to Paris and rejoin his former team, Nkunku told Telefoot, “PSG remains a big club, but there has not been one approach.”

It comes after pundit Dean Saunders told the Frenchman to leave the club : “It probably isn’t realistic for Villa to sign Curtis Jones or Harvey Elliott but I was trying to give an example. I’m looking at clubs who have really good players who aren’t getting a game,” Saunders told Bonus Code Bets.

CHELSEA , I’ve lost count of how many players they’ve got but they can’t all get in the team. They’re not only the best players in the country they’re from but they’re treated like the best ever from that country. They’ve also been the best players at the clubs they were at.

“They find it really difficult to sit on the bench for five or six games and not get a game. I’ve been a manager and this is where you start getting issues.”

BADIASHILE MESSAGE SENT –

CHELSEA ’s £35m signing Benoit Badiashile is ‘not good enough for the Premier League’, according to former Blues defender William Gallas.

The 23-year-old made over 100 appearances for Monaco and had started representing the France national team, with his performances making Chelsea decide to make a move just a few windows ago.

However – After arriving at Stamford Bridge midway through the 2022-23 campaign, Badiashile made 11 appearances for Chelsea during the rest of the season before featuring in half of the club’s Premier League games last term

However – Gallas has now come out and told the  board that Badiashile is simply not good enough for the Premier League: ‘When I saw Benoit Badiashile at Monaco about two years ago, I knew then that he wasn’t the sort of player that would thrive in the Premier League,’ Gallas told Prime Casino.

‘He has quality, but not at Premier League level. I was really surprised when Chelsea signed him and now he is suffering on the bench because he isn’t playing.

‘He isn’t feeling good because he isn’t playing games but I don’t think he is good enough to be starting, this is when you have to look at the scouts and the people that make the signings at CHELSEA .’
