Answer given! £60 million Soumare opens up about makiing Chelsea move this month
Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare has spoken publicly for the first time since Chelsea’s interest was announced.
The 20-year-old has had an outstanding campaign with fifth-placed Lille in Ligue 1 and is widely regarded as one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe, and his performances have also meant the likes of Real Madrid and we are interested in a possible deal
Soumare was discovered by Lille sporting director Luis Campos, the man who helped unearth the likes of Anthony Martial, Fabinho, James Rodriguez, Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva during his time at Monaco.
It is believed that we are interested in signing this young man this month, as he is seen as the perfect long-term replacement for the brilliant Ngolo Kante, who has been linked with a shock exit at the end of the season.
However, Soumare has now come out and claimed that he is not moving to England this transfer window, but has also admitted he may leave at the end of the season.
He told L’Equipe: “I want to do a full season, yes. I feel good, my team-mates are helping me. It is not time to leave. I don’t want to leave with regrets.

“Yes, of course [I would like to leave], I have already discussed with the coach. I told him very clearly. I have a very clear idea of where I want to go in my career. I know where I am today. And that suits me.”
There is no doubt that we need to spend some serious money improving this side and bringing in the type of players that will send a real statement to the rest of the Premier League, but is Soumare really the answer to their problems?
the lad is tipped to be a STAR OF THE FUTURE, and we need to spend money for players that will make an impact on the side now, NOT in two or three years time.
So the news that he is staying put may indeed be some good news as honestly, the squad does not need anymore talents, we need statement signings Frank.
