Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola revealed it would take an “unnatural” bid for the Cherries to let go of CHELSEA target Dominic Solanke this month.

A whole host of clubs have been linked with the Englishman, who has netted 12 Premier League goals this season, and there has been quite alot of speculation in the media which has suggested that he could leave the club.

It is no secret that we have struggled in front of goal this season – and many fans were hoping that the board would once again splash the cash and add a 20-goal a season striker to the attack, as Nicolas Jackson has not yet proven that he is good enough.

But although Iraola has revealed that Bournemouth would be open to the idea of letting Solanke leave the club – the Cherries boss has admitted that only a big offer would tempt them into letting Solanke leave

Iraola said: “I don’t have any power, we have an opinion [on whether we want to keep them] and there are always negotiations and if someone meets the expectations of the club then…

“But the expectations are really high so I don’t think that will be happening.

“I think Solanke will stay, but I can’t guarantee 100 per cent. He’s happy and performing well and everyone is happy with him.

“It would take something unnatural for him to leave. That is the same with the best players we have, and we know their worth and we appreciate them.”
