Aurelien Tchouameni has spoken on his future and the transfer rumours linking him with the likes of Chelsea heading into the summer transfer window.

Tchouameni began his career at Bordeaux and made 37 appearances for the club after making his debut in a Europa League qualifier in July 2018 at the age of 18.

He signed for Monaco in January 2020 after putting pen-to-paper on a four-year deal and has been in scintillating form ever since, making 76 appearances for his current club and finding the back of the net five times.

And With interest high, it could be the case that Monaco sell to the highest bidder – with reports that Thomas Tuchel is more than keen to add some more talent to his squad in the coming days

Despite all the drama surrounding Chelsea, there is still alot of speculation in the media about the type of players that could arrive in the transfer window, amid all the rumours, Tchouameni addressed the speculation over his future ahead of France’s friendly with South Africa on Tuesday.

“You don’t necessarily have to play at Real or Manchester City to play for the France team,” the midfielder told a press conference.

Tchouameni is a special talent that has a very bright future in the game, so if the club do manage to wrap up a transfer deal for the man, he would be a great investment for the club

But it will be very interesting to see where the player ends up as the interest is high, and the player knows that he needs to make the right career choice in order to keep progressing in the game

Chelsea will surely sign a few world class players in the summer window in order to help close that gap on Man City and Liverpool, especially as the owners will want to put their own stamp on the squad.

Thiago Silva has stressed the importance of ‘spectacular footballer’ Cesar Azpilicueta to Chelsea amid all the rumours that he is set to depart the club at the end of the season on a free deal.

Azpilicueta is a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as indications suggest that he will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to extend his deal into next season, and That leaves Azpilicueta free to leave in the summer transfer window. He has been linked with a return to Spain.

It has been claimed already that Azpilicueta has an agreement with Barcelona to make a move to the camp Nou on a two-year deal and with Fellow defenders Rudiger and Christensen also looking set to leave, Chelsea will be in the market for a new defender

However, amid all the rumours that he is leaving, Silva has stressed the importance of the ‘spectacular footballer’ to the club: ‘Cesar Azpilicueta, since I arrived, was one of my main sources of support,’ Silva told Mundo Deportivo

‘There are players who have what it takes to be captain and he is one of them. He is a player who seeks union, who tries to help others.

‘He is a spectacular footballer and a super-professional who, with certainty, deserves to be where is. Azpilicueta has beastly conditions.’

Azpilicueta, meanwhile, admits he could ‘never have imagined’ what he would go on to achieve at Chelsea when he arrived through the doors at Stamford Bridge in 2012.

‘This is my tenth season here,’ the Blues hero said in the same interview. ‘When I came, I never imagined that I could get to where I am right now.

‘The role of captain in England is different from that in Spain and here it is true that you can have more responsibilities off the pitch.

‘Also, we are more involved with the referees, with the Premier League, within the club… I am very proud of the fact of becoming captain, even though I am a foreigner.’

It has been claimed in the media again today that Chelsea are eyeing up the idea of trying to convince Ronaldo Araujo to leave Barcelona and come to the Premier League

All the drama around the club has been hindering possible transfer talk for the player, but with Antonio Rudiger seemingly on his way out of the club, there is need for a new defender possibly arriving

And that has led to many reports in the media which have suggested that we are eyeing up a potential deal for Barca defender Araujo.

The defender has a contract until June 2023, but renewal talks haven’t been going well, with Araujo’s representatives believing that Barca’s current offers don’t reflect the player’s status in the squad.

Recent reports claimed that Araujo is now planning for life in the Premier League by taking up English lessons ahead of a possible move to Man United, or any club that are interested.

Now, according to <the Express, Chelsea have expressed their interest in the 23-year-old.

The reports add Araujo is out of contract at the end of next season, and has already rejected an offer from Barcelona for an extension.

Araujo is a very gifted player that has the ability to make a real impact at Chelsea, so the fact that the Blues could land him on a bargain deal in the summer, could be a great bit of business by the club

So it will be interesting to see just who arrives as we are big fans of Araujo
