Superstar ‘IS one of the best Chelsea signings’

Journalist Paul Brown has claimed that Thiago Silva is one of the best signings that CHELSEA have made in recent memory.

Everybody doubted that Thiago SIlva would be able to compete at the level he has over the past 15 years because of his age – and many believed he could not handle the Premier League.

However – that has not been the case and he has been one of the best central defenders in the Premier League – and a real leader for the club ever since he arrived at the club.

But there has been alot of speculation in the media that Thiago Silva could be one of the big names that leaves the club as the Blues look to the future, but Brown has defined Thiago Silva’s acquisition by the board as one of the best signings in recent times.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

He told GIVEMESPORT: 

‘There aren’t that many leaders left at CHELSEA, and I think when people look back on his time at the club, it won’t be remembered as a massively trophy-laden spell because of the way the last few months have gone.

‘But I do think that when people look back, they will look at him and think that he was one of their best signings of recent times. I think he’s been incredibly important for them.”

Thiago Silva has been one of the best central defenders in the game for more than 15 years now, he really is a superstar for the club. But he come in to do what he was paid to achieve and had some success at the club.
