Fans told ‘absolutely no doubt’ class act still good enough for Chelsea!

Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted there is “absolutely no doubt” Thiago Silva can “play on” at CHELSEA.

Everybody doubted that Thiago SIlva would be able to compete at the level he has over the past 15 years because of his age – and many believed he could not handle the Premier League.

However – that has not been the case and he has been one of the best central defenders in the Premier League – and a real leader for the club ever since he arrived at the club.

But there has been alot of speculation in the media that Thiago Silva could be one of the big names that leaves the club as the Blues look to the future, but Agbonlahor has claimed that he could still carry on at Stamford Bridge.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “It will depend on him and what kind of level he wants to play at.

“He might look at it and think he’s earned enough money at CHELSEA, and he’s happy to take less somewhere else.

“He might even be settled in London. He’s been there a while. We don’t know what his plans are, exactly. He could go back to Brazil or try Saudi Arabia.

“But if we’re talking about him as a player. Looking at his performances so far this season, there’s absolutely no doubt that can still play on in the Premier League. So, I expect a U-turn could happen”.

Thiago Silva has been one of the best central defenders in the game for more than 15 years now, he really is a superstar for the club. But he come in to do what he was paid to achieve and had some success at the club.
