Forget signing Neymar – Tuchel told to bring superstar to Chelsea

Chelsea icon Frank Laboeuf has advised Thomas Tuchel to sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, not PSG star Neymar.
Both Ronaldo and Neymar are two of the biggest players in world football right now and two players that would be seen as statement signings from Ted Boehly should he make a move
It has been claimed in recent days that PSG are very keen to try and get Neymar off the books after telling the Brazilian he is free to depart – and it has been suggested that a move to Stamford Bridge is really on the cards
Ronaldo is a player that netted 24-goals in 38 games for Man United last season – but with the club not making the signings that the club need and want – and the fact they are not in the Champions League – he has reportedly told the Red Devils board that he wants to leave
But amid all the speculation that we are interested in both players this summer – former star Leboeuf has come out and told the new Blues board that they should try and sign Ronaldo and not Neymar
He told ESPN: “I would pick Ronaldo because they need someone to finish the actions and score and be more clinical.
“Neymar is not going to happen, I don’t think Tuchel wants him because he had so many issues when he was the coach of PSG.”

Both players can score goals – both players would be seen as statement signings and both players would be welcomed by fans
Ronaldo is a man that is right at the very end of his playing days at the top level – but proved last season that he can still score the goals
Neymar is a player in decline – he is at that stage of his career that he no longer cares about being the best player in the world and many believe that the Premier League would not be a good fit for the man
