Loftus-Cheek tells Chelsea to keep Hazard as Sarri makes announcement on Blues future

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has pleaded with Chelsea to try and keep hold of their squad this summer, as the transfer ban was not overturned.

FIFA found usa guilty of breaching rules over the signings of foreign minors and we launched an appeal last month in the hope that the punishment would get overturned, reduced or delayed, but after much consideration, the appeal has been rejected.

But speculation in the media has constantly linked Eden Hazard with a move away to Real Madrid, with many reports in the media all suggesting that the Belgian superstar does indeed wish to leave the club in the coming months.

But Loftus Cheek believes it is imperative nobody is allowed to leave during the close season.

‘If the club is banned from transfers then we will have to keep the squad we have and bring some of the loan players back. But that isn’t something that should be used to get more just, I just want to work hard,’ said Loftus-Cheek on the Sky Sports website.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri is ready to ditch a return to Italy and stay with Chelsea.

Results since December have been mixed and sections of support have voiced their frustration at the team’s style of play and Sarri’s tactics in recent months, as many fans have started chanting ‘f*** Sarriball’ since the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United in February.

And according to recent reports the former Napoli coach would welcome the opportunity to return to Italy after a single, often turbulent, season in England with reports Roma are interested in his services.

However, Sarri says he is keen to remain in England and joked he would rather move to another Premier League club before going back to Serie A.

“As I’ve said in every press conference, I want to stay here,” said Sarri on the Sky Sports news website
.
“I like very much English football – the atmosphere in the stadiums. So if I can I want to stay here. My target is to stay in English football at the moment.”
