Mr Sarri orders Chelsea to complete late deal for £40 million Napoli star Hysaj?
Maurizio Sarri has reportedly told the Chelsea hierarchy to sign up Elsaid Hysaj once Gonzalo Higuain officially arrives at the club.
It is no secret that we are all set to announce a deal to bring Higuain to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal until the end of the season, after Sarri told the club that he needed a striker that would score the goals Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have not.[the_ad id=”164″]
But he is also keen on trying to improve the back-line, with many in the media believing that David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger is simply not good enough to help us get back into a Champions League spot, and maybe push on for some silverware.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Sarri now his eye on another player he managed at Napoli, 24-year-old right-back Hysaj.
Hysaj has become one of the best defender sin Seria A over the past few seasons and Napoli do not want to sell him, but the 24-year old has become frustrated with his game time this season and there has been some speculation that he would like to link-up with former boss Sarri.
And according to the reports, once the deal for Higuain is completed, Sarri wants us to seal a deal for Hysaj.[the_ad id=”164″]
Would we welcome Hysaj to the club?
For the right price, yes we would as he would bring real quality to the back-line, especially since Luiz may not get the new deal that he is looking for. But Napoli are notorious for making transfer deals impossible and even if Hysaj was to leave in the coming transfer windows, we may have a long fight on our hands to even seal a deal.
It took months for us to sign Sarri and Jorginho in the summer, and considering Hysaj has a big contract at Napoli, it could take even longer for us to conclude any sort of deal.
