Blues boss Sarri opens up and discusses possible Chelsea deal for Higuain
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has discussed the Blues impending deal to bring Gonzalo Higuain to the club.
After months of speculation, it seems that we have settled on trying to bring Higuain to the club after missing out on a number of other transfer targets that have been put on the shopping list of Sarri.
[the_ad id=”164″]And recent reports have suggetsed that we have agreed a deal with Juventus for Higuain, in which he will spend the remainder of the season at Stamford Bridge.
Asked whether there had been any developments, Sarri said after the Arsenal loss at the weekend: ‘I don’t want to talk about that.
‘I met with leadership 15 days ago and I’m sure that they’re doing the best to acquire the players that they can in a difficult market like January.
‘I don’t want to spend all day thinking about it, also because it really bores me.
‘Is Higuain the player I want? He’s been on the list, but I don’t know how the situation has evolved.’

Higuaín has scored goals all over the world for many top clubs, but he is now coming to the very end of his top-level playing days and he may struggle to adapt to the pace and quality of the Premier League.
And the fact he may also be here for a few months means that he may not be a good investment, especially since there are many top players out there that would be a more long-term buy.
Higuaín is a top striker, but he is not the man to come in and solve our goal-scoring issues, we need someone line Mauro Icardi or Krzysztof Piatek, who have plenty of years at the very top of the game.
