Bold Sancho claim made, Chelsea names favourites to sign superstar, Winger tears up ahead of confirmed Chelsea move
Guys here is a roundup of the latest news, gossip and transfer speculation from icchelseanews.com
Owen Hargreaves has claimed that Chelsea target Jadon Sancho could walk into any top side in the Premier League
Sancho’s name has been dominating the headlines for over 12 months now after a breathtaking last few seasons with Borussia Dortmund, in which he has develop into one of the most creative players in the game.
It is no secret that pretty much every top side in the Premier League has been keeping a close eye, with reports we are leading the chase, and are ready to pay that massive £100 million asking price of the young man.
Now, amid all the speculation, Hargreaves has opened up and claimed that Sancho could walk into any top level side in the Premier League, and is still worth breaking the bank for despite the coronavirus outbreak.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘The Bundesliga lower down has stabilised a lot in terms of spending and is a lot more sensible than some of the teams we see in some of the other (leagues).
‘I think Jadon is a special case because whoever gets him… the fees are going to be significant but that is a player for potentially a decade. ‘ So he walks into any of our great teams, our Man Citys, our Liverpools, even a Barcelona or a Real Madrid if he fancies it. His level is that good.
‘I think you’ll see fees come down for sure. The amount of friends I have that run businesses that have gone under.
‘It’s going to impact football teams as well but I think the big ones, the Bayern Munichs and the Man Uniteds, they are still going to have money to do what they want to do.
‘Maybe not in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality.’
Rivaldo has opened up and confirmed that Chelsea are favourites to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Bayern have decided not to keep him after his loan spell, Barcelona are seemingly set of letting him leave in order to raise some transfer funds, and reports have suggested that we are the club that are keen on him most.
Willian is leaving during the summer window after failing to agree a new contract with the club and Frank Lampard knows that he needs to bring in an adequate replacement for the Brazilian star.
And although Rivaldo has confirmed that weare leading the chase for Cotuinho, he has also admitted that he should take a pay-cut if it will save his career at Barcelona.
Rivaldo, 48, wrote on Betfair: “Chelsea are the favourites to sign Coutinho and I don’t believe they will be put off by his recent injury.
[the_ad id=”164″]“After all, next season is still very distant and he will have enough time to a completely recover.
“On the other hand, if the transfer doesn’t go forward and he stays at Barcelona perhaps a salary reduction, based on the player’s decision, could earn plaudits from the board and maybe show that he is eager to remain at the club and finally prove his worth.
“Yes, there are many clubs already reducing their players’ salaries because of coronavirus crisis, but if the player takes a step forward in that themselves it would be seen as the attitude of someone interested in remaining at the club.”
New Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech broke down in tears as Ajax gave the playmaker a heart-breaking send-off ahead of his summer switch to Stamford Bridge.
It is believed that he will be the first of many top-class signings that arrive at the club as they seek to push on from this season, and many are excited to see just what he brings to the club
But the new winger broke down in tears after the Dutch giants gave him a send-off after a few impressive seasons with Ajax.
Ziyech was brought to the Tuschinski theatre in Amsterdam to be shown a series of clips and messages, where he admitted it was hugely difficult to leave Ajax without a proper goodbye.
‘It’s a bit strange. You know that everything comes to an end. But it’s, you know…. It’s a strange way of closing this chapter.’
Asked if he had ever imagined he would leave Ajax in such fashion, Ziyech said:‘No. Not what I had imagined, no.
‘I am happy to take the next step, but you don’t want to end it like this. It feels as if you didn’t pass the exams, that’s how it feels. ‘You’re powerless. It doesn’t feel like the season ended successfully.’
Ziyech started to get emotional as the interviewer suggested he should have been substituted in the final game to a standing ovation, to which he replied:
‘That would have been the perfect end. ‘But unfortunately that wasn’t meant to be for me.’
You may be sad to leave Ajax Hakim, but being a Chelsea player will mean that you get to take you game to that next level and push on to become one of the very best wingers in the game.
We are so excited about his arrival in the next couple of months
