Guys here is a roundup of the latest Chelsea news, gossip and transfer talk from us over the past 24 hours.

Chelsea target Phillipe Coutinho’s agent has claimed the Premier League could be his natural home – but the coronavirus pandemic could pay an end to his hopes.

There has been some big speculation in the media over the past few days which have suggested that we are closing in on a £77 million deal for the former Liverpool man, as he is not wanted back at Barcelona in the summer and will be sold on.

Reports have claimed we have opened talks with the Brazilian, who has struggled to reach the kind of form which made him one of the best players in the game during his time with Liverpool, meaning that he will be on the transfer market during the summer window

We reportedly lead the chase, especially as there is talk that Brazilian Willian could be leaving the club, and the Brazilian playmaker and his advisor Kia Joorabchian would love him to make a move back to the top flight.

But Joorabchian admits any plans may be dashed by the financial crisis in football as a result of Covid-19 forcing the game across the world to shut down.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Joorabchian said: “After the Champions League game he played in England we had a long chat about it.

“The Premier League is something that he has always enjoyed playing in, and loved playing in, and would probably love to come back and play in.

“The question is what are going to be the financial conditions of all the clubs, including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs at the end of this pandemic?”

Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus expects Chelsea target Manuel Neuer to leave the Bundesliga champions this summer.

There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that Frank Lampard is keen to sign a new stopper in the summer transfer window as he has not been impressed by the performances of Kepa, who has struggled between the sticks.

And that has led to some speculation in the media suggesting that e are ready to make a move and try to bring in a new stopper at the end of the season, to make sure that they have a more reliable stopper between the sticks for when next season starts.

Recent reports on BILD  CLAIMED that Lampard will seek to officially get Kepa off the books in the summer and will seek to complete a mammoth deal for Neuer, and the report added Neuer is already considering ditching Bayern because the German giants have a deal to bring in Schalke shot-stopper Alexander Nubel, 23, from next season, meaning that he may find himself on the bench more often that he wants at this stage in his career.

Now all-time great midfielder Matthaus, 59, told Sky Deutschland: “I can understand his desire for security and a long contract very well. But five years is also a long time.

“He should not forget how loyal FC Bayern was to him in every phase. For both sides, it would be wonderful if Manuel stays a few years more.

“He should first extend for three years and if he’s still healthy and performs he’ll get the next contract. I think the signs are pointing to his departure.”

Matthaus added: “He wants to play. He wants to play more often and longer. In light of his quality, that’s understandable.

“Probably a little more was expected of him, and the expectations he put on himself were undoubtedly higher. I don’t think that he will still be playing in Munich next season.”

Jadon Sancho has been urged to snub the likes of Chelsea and stay at Borussia Dortmund for two more years by team-mate Marco Reus.

There has been alot of speculation in the media suggesting that we are willing to splash around £100 million in the summer to try and acquire the services of Sancho, who has become one of the most exciting wingers in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons.

Frank Lampard is keen to bolsters his squad at the end of the season and improve the side enough to get back challenging for that Premier League title, and also as a possible replacement for the likes of Willian and Pedro. who have been tipped to leave the club at the end of the season.

Sancho seems keen to move on, too, with Dortmund chiefs all-but giving him the green light to quit, but now the former Manchester City youth product has been urged to stick it out at the Bundesliga giants by Reus, who claims there is “nowhere better for him”.

Speaking to Bild, Reus said: “He should stay one more, maybe two years at Dortmund.

“In my view, there is currently nothing better for him.

“Then he can take the really big step, as an even more complete player who can continue to develop with us as a regular in the team.”

There will be a lot more transfer speculation regarding the future of Sancho between now and the summer, but it will be very interesting to see just how this plays out, as the big clubs are willing to pay the big money and bring him to the Premier League, where he should be playing.

He would be more than welcome at Stamford Bridge, dont you think guys?
