Powerhouse tells fans ‘he is super-excited’ about four-year deal agreed

Antonio Rudiger has admitted that he is super-excited to join Real Madrid after deciding to eave Chelsea

The powerful German defender is easily one of the best in world football – and a massive player for boss Thomas Tuchel – no never really dropped Rudiger from the starting line-up

His contract with the club is set to expire on the 30th June – and after the Blues failed to give him that contract that he wanted – Madrid swooped in and offered him that move to Spanish football.

Madrid have confirmed that Rudiger has penned a four-year deal at Santiago Bernabeu, tying him down to Los Blancos through until the summer of 2026.

And it is believed that he has agreed a deal worth around £342,000-a-week – with a hefty signing on fee included – and after the clubconfirmed that a move would be happening – Rudiger has admitted that he is super-excited to play for such a big club

Rudiger Tweeted: “I’m proud to announce that I’ll be joining [Real Madrid].

“I’m super excited for all the challenges ahead and can’t wait to play my first games for this huge club.”

It is believed that Rudiger will be presented to the media in Madrid on Monday June 20.

There were certain players at the club that Thomas Tuchel did not want to lose – and Rudiger was one of those players

However – he will be leaving the club and now that the new owner has arrived – The German coach will need to make sure that an adequate replacement is all signed

It seems that the money is there and not many players would turn down a move to Stamford Bridge – so fans can expect some very good arrivals to make the move to London
