Agent reveals Rudiger to stay, Madrid and Chelsea in Alonso talks, Isco pushing for Madrid exit in icchelseanews roundup…

Atletico Madrid are in talks to sign Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso – according the latest reports.

We are just a few days away from the opening of the January transfer window and there is alot of speculation in the media that the board will hand Lampard some funds in order to sign a few players that will finish off his spending.

However, we have a massive squad and will need to offload a few players well before we are able to bring some players into the squad, meaning that stars like Alonso are no longer needed at the club.

And according to reports on the Independent, we are now in talks with Madrid to try and get a transfer deal done for the left-back.

The Spanish giants are looking to bring the 30-year-old in on an initial loan deal as Diego Simeone seeks to bolster his defensive ranks for the second half of the season.

And the reports says we are ready to sanction Alonso’s departure, with Ben Chilwell and Emerson Palmieri currently ahead of the Spaniard in the squad pecking order.

The agent of Emerson Palmieri has opened up and addresses the rumours he could be leaving in the January window.

Emerson has been given enough chances to shine in that shirt since his move to the club just a few seasons go, but despite a few impressive performances, the left-back has never really made the impact that many had hoped for.

And ahead of the opening of the January window, there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that he will finally depart the club and possibly head back to Italian football, if the club get the right kind of offer for him.

However, Fernando Garcia, who serves as Emerson’s main legal representative, has expressed his belief that his client will remain on the Blues’ books until beyond January: “Will he go away from Chelsea in January? I do not believe so. I don’t know if there will be the possibility of returning to Italy,” Garcia told FCInter1908.

Pressed on the possibility of Inter reigniting their pursuit of Emerson, he responded: “For now there have been no contacts with Inter.”

Garcia added on the star’s relationship with his current manager: “Emerson has a good relationship with Lampard.”

long-term Chelsea target Isco is pushing for a move away from Real Madrid in the January window.

Now we all know that Frank Lampard has one of the best attacks in the Premier League, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner just a few names that have got many excited this season.

However, they are still lacking creativity in the centre of that midfield, with Mason Mount the only player that adds both goals and assists to the squad, meaning that Lampard may be looking to keep improving that midfield.

And that has led to constant speculation that Isco is back on the shopping list of the hierarchy, having failed to sign the Spaniard on a number of occasions over the last few seasons.

Now, they have been given a boost, according to Spanish Publication AS, who have suggested that Isco is now keen to leave Madrid in the January transfer window and find a team that he can be more of a regular starter in.

The situation however is complex with no offers at present arriving for the player’s services despite the club’s desire not to hold his interests back with his current deal expiring in June 2022.

The reports also states, Madrid are not prepared to under-sell the creative player or let him leave on a loan move with the coronavirus pandemic impacting greatly on current market value with club’s tightening purse strings.

Speaking recently on Spanish radio, the player’s father stated: “at present, we have no offers, but Isco wants to try another league,” he told Cadena SER on Monday. He added: “Staying in Madrid would not be a problem.”
