Powerhouse ‘has completed medical’ and agreed four-year deal – Chelsea fans to see move happen
Germany defender Antonio Rudiger has agreed to join Real Madrid when his Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season.
It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel could be losing a whole host of defenders at the end of the season as a number of stars are out of contract, meaning that the German will need to bring in a few more players
Antonio Rudiger is the man that we will need to replace when he departs the club at the end of the season after he failed to agree a new contract at the Bridge – despite months of talks
Now reports on Goal have claimed The 29-year-old has completed a medical and put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal worth a reported €6.8 million (£5.7m/$7.1m) per season, plus bonuses.
The defender and his agent Sahr Senesie – his half-brother – are also due to receive a huge signing bonus with some reports placing it at €35 million (£29m/$37m) between them both.

There are many fans out there right now that were hoping to see Rudiger stay at the club – maybe sign a new contract – so the news that he has reportedly agreed a move to Madrid will come as a massive blow
He is a world class defender that we will surely miss – especially in that dressing room
But if he is going – then Tuchel will need the backing of the new board as they will have some serious issues at the back if another top-class defender is not signed by the club in the coming months
