Brazilian icon Ronaldo sends very exciting message about brilliantly gifted Chelsea signing

Brazilian icon Ronaldo Nazario has delivered a glowing verdict on incoming CHELSEA youngster Estevao, who is making a real name for himself over in the Brazilian Leagues as one of the games most exciting and talented players.

Estevao made just 22 senior appearances for Palmeiras before Chelsea made the decision to swoop in and bring him to the Premier League, although he will not be arriving until next season.

The announcement came after reports about a transfer potentially worth as much as £52m with the Brazilian club being struck. Estevao is has reportedly signed a nine-year contract until 2033 with the club.

He is already a full Brazilian International and many are hoping that this move to Stamford Bridge does not hold his development back, his 13th goal in the league along with nine assists and is the third player in the Brasileirao to have scored the most goals. He also has a total of 22 goal involvements

Abel Ferreira’s side came back to defeat Cruzeiro 2-1 on the road and Estevao once again had a key role in the match. His sensational free-kick in the 89th minute kept Palmeiras in the Brasileirao title race ahead of the final game, which takes place on Sunday

And During a conversation with journalist Ben Jacobs via X, Ronaldo raved about the South American teenager, who’s already earned four senior Brazil caps, he said: “He’s a young player and very talented. He’s kind of like Lamine Yamal.

‘He will soon be a very big star in football. He’s very promising, and at just 17. I think he’ll play for Palmeiras at the Club World Cup then join CHELSEA.”
