Fans react to Ronaldo-Chelsea rumour, Seria A star ‘convinced’ to sign with Chelsea, Napoli will sell powerhouse to Chelsea, President announces,Mbappe and Neymar message sent

Fans go crazy over Ronaldo rumour, Mbappe and Neymar message sent, Napoli will sell Koulibaly, Mertens claim in icchelseanews roundup..
PSG sporting director Leonardo has told the likes of Chelsea neither Kylian Mbappe nor Neymar will be leaving the club this summer.
Mbappe is regarded by many as the man to become the best player on the planet in the next couple of seasons, and has been eyed up with a stunning move to some of the biggest clubs over the past 12 months.
Neymar on the other-hand has been one of the best players on the planet for a while now and has been heavily linked with big transfer moves to the Bridge and Barcelona over the coming transfer window, although the coronavirus may stop a record-breaking deal from happening.
But the likelihood of anyone being able to afford either of the Parisians’ star duo in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic is slim anyway, especially as the Brazilian insists the club want to hold onto both for many years to come.
“There’s nothing that tells us they’ll leave this summer,” Leonardo told Journal du Dimanche.
“They both still have two years left on their contracts and we’re thinking about what we can do next with them. We want to move forward.
“Mbappe is the future of PSG. This is what everyone wants. The ideal scenario would be for him to extend his contract. He’s already among the best five players in the word. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are 32 and 35, Neymar and Mbappe are 28 and 21 and they are with us.
“There’s no need to overthink it. We have to take advantage of having them because they’re something huge. We have to find a solution to continue together.”
Napoli forward Dries Mertens was almost persuaded to join Chelsea during the winter transfer window, it has been claimed.
We were able to delve into their transfer kitty during the January transfer window after getting their transfer ban overturned just a few months ago.
But despite all the talk, and despite all the speculation surrounding possible new signings, Frank Lampard has been unable to complete the transfer deals that he would have liked and will now have to wait until the summer to get his transfer deals done.
[the_ad id=”164″]However, Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has now opened up and claimed that Mertens was quite convinced about making that January move to the Bridge, as a move to the premier League was of big interest
“In January when Chelsea knocked on the door, he was quite convinced,” Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“But once you are in the south of Italy, with good money and you are a god, why would you change that?
“He would come to the Premier League as a nobody and in Italy he is a star.”
Napoli are open to selling Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly, according to their club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
We have been in the transfer headlines alot of the past few months as all indications suggest that boss Frank Lampard is keen to delve into that transfer kitty in the summer and improve his back-line.
And one name that is high up on the shopping list of the club is that of Kouliably, who is easily regarded as one of the finest central defenders in Seria A, and around Europe.
It has been reported on many occasions that Napoli do not want to sell one of their biggest players and would rather keep him at the club, that is how much they reportedly are desperate to keep him at the club.
However, De Laurantis has opened up and announced that he would consider letting Koulibaly leave the club, if the asking price was met this transfer window.
The Napoli president told Corriere Dello Sport: ” I would think about it and it is probable that they would leave, always if their will was to leave.

“I look around and see companies at 500, 600 million, less than a billion. I don’t owe anyone a sh*t.”
Chelsea supporters have taken to social media to react to speculation that Frank Lampard could Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now, we have been busy over the past few weeks, signing players, agreeing possible deals and even opening talks with possible signings, as Frank Lampard needs to improve on his current side.
That has led to alot of speculation about the type of players that could be signed in the summer, But the latest rumour has fans in a frenzy as there is a suggestion they may sign Ronaldo.
But despite the fact this deal will never happen, some fans are dreaming of the 35-year-old running out at Stamford Bridge next year.
“Ronaldo is coming to Chelsea???!!!” One person tweeted.
And another added: “Wait is Ronaldo coming to Chelsea??”
While a third wrote: “Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea here we go.”
The majority of Blues supporters are not buying talk of Ronaldo’s proposed move to west London.
“The idea Ronaldo going to Chelsea is comical,” one supporter said.
Another added: “Buying a washed out Ronaldo for the same price that you could get a future ballon d’or winner in Sancho is such a Chelsea thing to do.”
A third commented: “Of course it is, don’t see Chelsea paying £120m for a 35 year old yes it’s Ronaldo but for that money plus age I doubt it.”
While a further user tweeted: “Where are these talks about Chelsea offering for Ronaldo coming from? I’m not taking them seriously but there’s no smoke without a flame right?”
And another wrote: “Chelsea have been linked with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
