Italian confirms Chelsea interest in signing brilliant Bundesliga ace

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that CHELSEA are still interested in signing RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol.
Over the past few seasons Gvardiol has developed into one of the most sought after young defenders in Europe and has a host of big clubs reportedly interested in his services.
Gvardiol scored the equaliser for the German club in their 1-1 Champions League first-leg draw with Manchester City last week – and his performance has just led to more speculation about his future.
Speaking on YouTube, quoted via his Daily Briefing with CaughtOffside, Romano says that the club are interested in a deal for the £70 million valued star, but other clubs are also keen on the lad.

“Chelsea remain interested in Josko Gvardiol, he’s a player they really appreciate,” Romano said. “Other clubs are now in the race as well, with Liverpool approaching Leipzig over Gvardiol in January.
“Manchester City are absolutely in the race too, Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the player. Everything is open, but it’s never easy to get a deal done with Leipzig – I think he could be one of the big deals of the summer.”

We can see just why RB do not want to lose the young man – he really is a special talent that has the potential to develop onto one of the best defenders in the game.
The German side may not want to let the man go – but at the end of the day guys – football is all about money and if we do offer the right kind of money – then business will get done.
