Italian addresses rumours 4-year deal agreed, Ricketts takeover message sent, Raphinha boost

Raphinha door has been opened, Italian addresses Rudiger claims and supporters issues Ricketts message in Chelsea roundup..
Chelsea transfer target Raphinha has turned down a new contract offer from Leeds United, demanding a smaller release clause as he hopes to leave the club for a bigger move in the coming windows
The Brazil international is likely to be one of the most in-demand players in world football this coming summer – when he will only have two years left on his contract – and is wanted by a host of clubs.
We are massive fans of the player and there was even some talk in the media that the club were eyeing up a deal during the January window, but eventually opted against making a move, and although they cannot make a move now, they plan too when a new owner arrives
And there has been some reports in the media that Chelsea were ready to battle Man United and Barcelona in the summer to try and win the race to complete a deal for Raphinha, and now it seems that they have been left on full alert about a potential transfer deal.
According to UOL, Raphinha has turned down the deal due to wanting the price of his release clause in his contract to be reduced. It currently stands at around £70m, but the Brazilian wants it to be reduced so interested parties aren’t priced out of a possible deal
Reports claim that Leeds are willing to double his wages, but aren’t willing to negotiate a decreased release clause.

Chelsea did not spend in the January window and that was a shock, but come the summer, it could be special players like Raphinha that make a move to Stamford Bridge
The club dont really need him in the squad, but he could be an ideal candidate to come in and add some more attacking threat to the club.
Brian Wolff, head of the Chelsea Chicago Supporters Club, has warned the club that they should not allow the Ricketts family to buy the club from Roman Abramovic
After weeks of speculation and rumours about who will buying the club, it has come down to the final few billionaires as the fans will finally see the back of Abramovic and say hello to a new owner, with one of them the Ricketts family
According to the Evening Standard, the Ricketts family are increasingly confident of being on that shortlist and Tom Ricketts has already held talks with the MP for Chelsea and Fulham, Greg Hands.
They are due to head to the UK in the coming days for face-to-face talks with fan groups and Chelsea Pitch Owners PLC to outline their vision, particularly as they plan to rebuild Stamford Bridge is high up on the agenda
But Brian Wolff, head of the Chelsea Chicago Supporters Club, has warned against letting the Ricketts family take over, citing the troubles and controversies that came with the redevelopment of Wrigley Field as well as the political leanings of the family.
The heads of the Ricketts family, Joe and Marlene, donated $1million to a pro-Donald Trump Super PAC to help him get elected in 2016, while son Todd was the chief fundraiser for Trump’s re-election campaign and Emails from Joe Ricketts also resurfaced last week in which he described Muslims as ‘the enemy’
‘As the Head of Chelsea Chicago Supporters Club, and the Chelsea Fans’ Forum Overseas Representative, I’ve had a unique position hearing what supporters in Chicago and worldwide have said regarding the Ricketts family’s bid for Chelsea,’ he wrote.
‘I can report the vast majority of opinion has been of universal disdain.
‘The Ricketts’ political donations, fundraising and support for candidates who do not share the inclusive views of Chelsea Football Club and its supporters are wholly inconsistent with 19 years of fantastic work done by the club and the Chelsea Foundation, most notably as a leader in committing to a living wage and efforts to protect and promote equality for BAME and LGBTQ+ communities.
‘Their ownership of Chicago Cubs baseball and redevelopment of Wrigley Field raises serious doubts whether they will build upon the club’s success on the pitch, and also the continued existence of the Chelsea Pitch Owners and the goal to keep Chelsea Football Club playing at Stamford Bridge at our forever home.
‘On behalf of countless supporters worldwide, I urge you to reject their bid for ownership of Chelsea Football Club in favour of others who will commit to not only building upon the last two decades of investment in players and infrastructure, but equally important, the investment in supporters and the values we hold dear.’
Italian journalist Tony Damascelli has refuted claims that Juventus have agreed a deal for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger has been in the headlines alot over the past few months as there is alot of speculation about whether or not he will stay at Chelsea, or leave to join the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich or Juventus
It is no secret that Chelsea, who could lose up to three defenders in the summer window, are very keen to make sure that he stays at Stamford Bridge as he has been in fine form this season
But those displays have only strengthened Rudiger’s belief that he should be one of the club’s top earners and he has an offers on the table to leave the Premier League when his time is up at Stamford Bridge
There had been some recent claims that He would be staying at the club, but a fresh report has claimed that Rudiger’s future is now sorted, as La Gazzetta dello Sport states that the star has said “yes” to a move to the Bianconeri.
He will sign a four-year deal with the Serie A giants as he prefers a move there over Madrid and Bayern, and the reports claim Rudiger will pocket around £5.4 million per season in Italy.
However, Damascelli has come out and claimed that those reports are not true, he said: “The rumours of the market refer to Rudiger and Pogba, but as things stand, there is not the money needed, unless there’s De Ligt’s probable sacrifice.”
