Declan Rice has reportedly told his friends that a move to Chelsea would be his future priority.
It is no secret in the media that Frank Lampard is a massive admirer of the Englishman, would love to add him to the squad and is lining up a transfer move to try and get a deal done either this month, or at the end of the season.
And according to The Mirror, wehave been handed a boost with Rice favouring a stay in the capital despite the admirable links to United, as the reports goes on to say that he has told friends that a move to the Bridge would be a priority.
Rice to our club is a move that has been talked about alot over the past few months, and rightly so, he has been brilliant this season and is now ready to play for a big club like Chelsea
He will come onto that transfer market soon, we will make a move, but so will United. And when that happens, he will need to make the right choice about his next move, it could make or break the lads career
But at the end of the day, we need to make sure that we are not paying silly money to get a deal done because the lad still has alot to prove and he is not worth that £80 million that is being talked about.
So if we do sign him, anything more than £50 million would be a waste
