Sergio Reguilon’s future remains unclear, but the Chelsea target reported prefers a move to the Premier League.
It is no secret that Frank Lampard is keen to splash the cash a little more to improve key areas of the pitch and adding a new left-back to the side is high up on his list of things to do this summer.
Wehave been linked with a move for Ben Chilwell, but with Leicester keen to keep hold of the Englishman and sticking a massive £80 million asking price on his head, we are looking at cheaper alternatives to the Englishman.
And earlier reports have claimed that we have held advanced talks with Real Madrid for the services of Reguilon, who has been impressing in La Liga with Spanish giants Sevilla over the past 12 months.
Now Spanish publication AS claim that we are leading the race for his signature as he wants to move to the Premier League and we can offer Champions League football.
Amid all the speculation, Reguilon has opened up and admitted that he doe snot know what the future hold and where he will be this transfer window: “I don’t even know where I’m going to play next season,” Reguilon admitted in an interview with Muchodeporte.
“I have no idea, I have to assess all the options that we have on the table.”
Look, the man is not world class just yet, but he is a player that we would like to see arrive at the club for that £25 million that he is reportedly going for.
