£36 million Rebic tells Chelsea he wants Premier League move after confiming transfer interest

Bundesliga star Ante Rebic has told Chelsea that he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

Rebic  was one of the stars of the world Cup for Croatia, becoming one of the main reasons why they managed to reach the Final against France, where they were simply blown away by the pace and quality of the French side

His performances for the National side caught the attentions of the club, with Maurizio Sarri seeking to add a bit more power to his attack, but a move never materialised as the Italian didn’t have enough time to complete all the deals that he wanted.

Now he has given us a massive boost in our chase for the forward, after he admitted that a move to the Premier League would suit his style.

As reported by the Mail, Rebic said: “I can’t deny many clubs, some from England, expressed an interest.

“The Premier League is attractive and it would suit my style. I’d like to experience it.”

Rebic has had a decent season this year and has managed six goals for the German side so far.

Here is what we think.

Our interest has wavered over the past few months, especially since both have world class attackers in the squad already. So if Rebic is to get that dream move to the Premier League, it may be for the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United or Tottenham, who are all lacking depth up top.

And with recent reports suggesting that Sarri is eyeing up a deal for Mauro Icardi, there will be no need to bring in another striker, at least not for the next few seasons.

He is a decent player, but not the right type to come in and help improve the squad.
