Real Madrid boss Solari has Isco transfer update for chasing Chelsea boss Sarri

Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari expects Chelsea target Isco to remain at the club amid rumours the attacking midfielder could leave.

Isco has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season, with speculation on his future dominating most papers after it was revealed that he was unhappy with the lack of game time he has been receiving.

That has led to speculation that we could be tempted to make a move, as Maurizio Sarri is a big fan and is still looking to add some creativity to his impressive midfield.

But Solari has claimed he expects Isco to stay at the club and rediscover his form, telling the Sky Sports website: “Every player here has to be committed, dedicated and keep working with hope and excitement; they are all fundamental to us.

“Isco has given us a lot of joy and he has to keep doing that. He’s a magnificent footballer and, now that we have lost Marcos Llorente, Javi Sanchez and Mariano, we’re going to need everyone.”

Is Isco done at Madrid?

Isco is a brilliant talent that could open up a defence in the blink of an eye, but he simply cannot get much game time at Madrid as Solari does not fully trust the Spaniard, So if the right offer arrives, then Madrid will surely decide to cash in.

However, unless a player or two leaves in the coming transfer windows then he is not needed and we would much prefer to see Sarri splash the cash and bring in a defender or striker, as that is the weakest area of the squad and both need improving if we are to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for that Premier League title.

He may be done at Madrid, but we do not need him at Stamford Bridge.
