We agree! Real Madrid told to forget about signing Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard
Real Madrid should abandon a summer move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard and make a move for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, claims Chris Sutton.
It is no secret that Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is lining up a move for Hazard at the end of the season as he looks to revamp the side which has struggled to pick up any meaningful wins this season, and are already out the chase for a La Liga title and Champions League crown.
Hazard has been a target for Madrid over the past 12 months, especially since the Belgian admitted that a move to La Liga could help him fulfil his dreams of wining the Champions League and Ballon D’or crowns, bBut despite the many reports which have suggested that Hazard is desperate for a move to Madrid at the end of the season, Sutton has advised Madrid to scrap their plans to sign the Belgium international and instead launch a bid for 24-year-old Sterling.

‘You have to say that Raheem Sterling is now world class,’ Sutton told the Daily Mail.
‘If you were Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, surely you would want to buy him over Eden Hazard. Is there anything Sterling cannot do? His weight of pass is superb, his movement off the ball is lethal and he has become deadly in front of goal.
‘What defender in the world would want to face Sterling in this form? It doesn’t matter if you take him on or back off — either way he will destroy you.
‘He is still just 24 and improving year on year. His wonderful performances for England in the last two games have confirmed that he can thrive on the international stage.
‘Sterling is one of the hottest properties in world football. If I was Real Madrid, I’d be making him my No1 target.’
