Chris Sutton has shared sympathy for Christopher Nkunku amid reports linking the Frenchman away from CHELSEA this January transfer window, as he is not getting the Premier League game time that he wants.

In total, the 27-year-old has scored 12 goals in 27 games across all competitions this term, but he has started just three of Chelsea’s 19 Premier League matches.

With his Premier League minutes being limited by Enzo Maresca, there has been some shock reports in the media which have claimed that a move to Man United could be on the cards, as the Red Devils are reportedly interested in a deal for the French star.

But now, According to The Telegraph., forward Christopher Nkunku is keen to leave Stamford Bridge during the current transfer window, and is being linked with a number of clubs.

Now, amid all that speculation and rumours Sutton has opened up and said: “I can see Christopher Nkunku leaving too. Enzo Maresca seems reluctant to use his bench and Nkunku hasn’t had enough regular game time,” he told NewBettingSites.uk.

“The fact that he’s down the pecking order and not getting regular game time, it certainly tells you that Maresca thinks he’s OK, but you need more than OK if you want to push for the Premier League title.

“Nkunku will probably look to move on if things don’t change, and I can’t necessarily see them changing. With Nicolas Jackson’s form, he seems to be heading in the right direction, and that’s unfortunate for Nkunku.

“Nkunku had that horrific injury but unless you get regular game time, it’s really difficult to find that rhythm. He is a talented player but it looks like another one where it’s just not going to happen for him at CHELSEA.”
