Excited! £58 million Pulisic opens up and sends Chelsea fans big message

Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic says he is excited by the challenge of playing for Chelsea in the Premier League.

Despite speculation that Dortmund were determined to keep Pulisic in the Bundesliga, the American international ended months of speculation over his future to finally seal a move to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth around £58 million.

It is believed Pulisic wanted to test himself in the Premier League, and rather than try and talk him into signing a big new contract, Dortmund decided they had enough cover to fill the void if he left.

And although he will not be officially signing until the end of the season, Pulisic has told Chelsea fans that he is excited about playing in the Premier League next season.

He told Sky Sports: “I always liked the way Chelsea played and still play football today, and I think that style suits me very well…I’ve always wanted to play in the Premier League and I’m looking forward to it.”

Is Pulisic a good buy for the club?

We are looking to the future and know that they have a real prospect on their hands having seen Pulisic produce the goods at Dortmund on a regular basis, and given time he will be a fantastic buy for the club.

He is only 20-years of age, is already considered one of the best wingers in Europe and for the £57 million that we have paid, Pulisic will eventually become a real transfer bargain for the club as he will be a superstar of the game.

We just need to be patient with his development as he will obviously need time to adjust to the pace and quality of the Premier League.
